I didn't knew before this trip of the existence of this kind of hotels in Mexico, simply outstanding, new level of hotel. The service, architecture, the place just fenomenal, the food. Everything just puts the bar really high for other hospitality services. Prepare yourself to be submerged in an experience only compareable to Asian boutique hotels. Worth every penny!

Simply put this is the very best hotel we've ever been to, and we've had the chance to travel all over the world and have stayed in great hotels, but none come close to Imanta. I specially recommend eating the lobster made in the wooden oven. The beach is the best beach you could find in the area... The croudiest...

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of traveling to The Imanta Resort in Mexico. Imanta is a luxury resort, an undiscovered gem hidden amidst the lush tropical jungles of Punta de Mita. After our short, two and a half hour flight from Los Angeles, we landed at the Puerta Vallarta airport and were greeted by Imanta representatives. The Imanta...

From the moment you drive in on the private winding 2 mile driveway you know you have arrived at an exquisite retreat. You are greeted with cold towels and a refreshing cold tea and taken to your own very private lodge. They are all deluxe, large in both square footage and cubic footage, and equipped with everything from large vanitys,...

My husband and I spent the day at Imanta. The Imanta staff were already expecting us and we had a nice tour of the lovely boutique resort. We had fun at the beach, were given a fresh coconut and had a delicious lunch: the catch of the day. Absolutely fresh from what was caught that day. I felt like we...

My husband believes that it is never a good idea to return to a place you loved because it is never as good the second time. We decided however to return to Imanta after three years because it was the best beach resort we had ever been to. The result was mixed. On the plus side, it is as beautiful...

Unbelievable setting, no distractions. Just beach. Lots of it, wide and clean, few people. Really ideal if you want to get away. Top of the line service, but too few kids ( hardly trained) doing it. Too bad, previously it was impeccable , now just good. Views : best in Mexico. Food : excellent, creative and delicious. Really great chef.

A year ago, I wrote a review entitled "My problem with Imanta". The note was tongue in cheek, written to convey that not a single thing was wrong. Unfortunately, a year later, I can no longer make such a claim. While the property is as stunning as ever, and the rooms are amongst the finest in the world, the service...

My wife and I spent two nights here, and loved everything about this place. I normally don't do reviews but we benefitted from others who posted here, so I'll do the same hoping it helps someone else. I'll start w the only negative: getting there from the airport. The drive is actually easy, but Google directions are awful. In fact,...
