This is a nice clean and basic hotel in Zitacuaro. It is close to the center, has good size rooms, with good bathrooms and hot water. It was clean, but no A/C. The room was a bit stuffy when I entered, but, as it gets cooler at night in December in Zitacuaro, I could sleep well. I had trouble connecting to the wi-fi (even though the gentleman at the reception gave me the password). The central courtyard makes it very noisy; the sound would bounce around...

We visited Zitacuaro this past month as it appeared in Mexico Desconocido as a quaint Michoacan town. We were disappointed to find an ugly, overpriced city that offered little in the way of lodging.
