We stayed in the largest accommodation which was fabulous. The two bedroom rental with kitchen was large, homey, and perfectly equipped. The property was beautiful with view of the lake, the folks on site were extremely helpful, and the location with easy access to town was great. I recommend this without reservation.

We had the most amazing vacation ever. We just wanted to get away from our demanding lives. We traveled back in history to the most beautiful colonial town I have ever seen. We took walks downtown every day and explored the towns many churches, the market place, the 11 patios, and the great little stores with Mexican artifacts. Our children...

Imagine looming mountains covered in pine trees, a breath taking vista of a magnificent lake with a huge mountain as a back drop and buildings that remind you of a Swiss hide-a-way and you will find yourself at Quinta Margarita in Patzcuaro. Although we only spent 2 nights there, we can't wait to return to Mexico and plan a return...

I loved my stay at La Quinta Margarita. I was there with my girlfriend over Xmas and New Years in 2008. We had an AMAZING TIME! Granted you have to love the outdoors as this place does not have TV, or internet connections. The vacation was just what we needed to get our relationship back on track, we enjoyed nature,...

I absolutely love this hotel. A friend recommended the town as a random cultural vacation spot in Mexico and it really was like time traveling. The town, the architecture, the people, the restaurants, everything seemed from a different era and this property fit right in. The couple that lives and helps on the property is very accomodating and sweet. They...

We enjoyed a wonderful 10-day family getaway at this beautiful property. It is within walking distance of the main Patzcuaro Square. The caretaker couple spoiled us, everyday started off with wonderful breakfast [must be prearranged] of fresh fruits and Chilequillas. We ate outside and had a fantastic view of valley, lake and mountains. Some great hiking near the property as...

We are a family of five, my husband traveled back and forth a couple of times to be with us. We stayed in "La Casa Grande", the kids slept in a huge bedroom with two double beds and...
