I stayed with my two medium/large dogs here and was very confortable. Has plenty of room for the 3 of us. The room was simple and clean. The restaurant was a good option for dinner and breakfast. Good price. Highly recommended for pets.

It is a basic Mexican hotel, yes it had hot water, and a TV, and free WiFi. there is a restaurant on the property, so it made for a quick, comfortable stop. There were two beds to a room, and they were comfortable. There is onsite parking, right by the room.

The rooms are adequate and the on site restaurant quite good. Just had a laugh one of our friends woke up to find that part of the ceiling had fallen on his outstretched hand. The hotel is located directly across the street from a whale watching tour site that offered a 4 hour tour for $49 per person. Convenient to...

We have been camping in a pop-up tent trailer for a couple weeks, but wanted a motel for one night since we planned to go over the last 23 miles of bad road on our way back to HWY 5 and San Felipe. We chose Don Gus because they allow dogs, and also have a restaurant so we wouldn't have...

Though the room was clean and the beds comfortable, this motel rated four, rather than three stars, because the employees were so helpful and friendly, here and at the Don Gus restaurant. That said, I would be hesitant to stay here in hot weather because the air conditioning did not work. This was not a problem in February and the...

My buds and I, all divers have been staying at Don Gus, on our way down to Bahia Tortugas, for 6 years. The first time it was random chance. We had a vehicle problem and Don Gus was across the street. The facility is reasonably priced, rooms are decent size, it's clean, has hot showers, enclosed parking and is far...

We really appreciate on our trip down and up the Baja that there are motels that allow dogs. This is not a deluxe place to stay - HOWEVER- the room was clean and basic and we slept well - so did our pooch!!! The restaurant is great - try the chilaquilles!!!!

We were given a tiny room with a small double bed. Maybe if we'd asked for more beds, we'd have seen what some of the other reviewers meant by "spacious" rooms. We had only enough room to just walk around the bed. Very cramped and seemed very dirty, but may just be the effect of how the building is literally...
