It has some of the most hilarious reviews I have ever seen. Some are actually true!! But it is the closest to the whales at Scammons to ya kinda just have to live with it for a bit, anyway. There is a lot of floatsome and jetsome that may be of interest to the casual traveler.

We stayed at this hotel with our dogs, which they agreed to allow even though it sounds like they don't always allow for that. Which we appreciated after another supposedly dog friendly hotel said no pets. The desk clerk told me about five times to not allow the dogs on the bed. Fine, and understandable. But he told us that...

As this was our first time driving down the Baja we were not sure of the quality or quantity of the hotels so we did our research in advanced and pre-booked all of our hotels. This is the 1 hotel that we pre-booked that I had wished that we had not. The hotel was older and maintenance was not the...

We stayed for one night, a Saturday, in July. We stayed in a Lance camper in the so-called RV park, and my 3 kids stayed in a motel room with 2 double beds. This place is OK if you're tired of driving and need a place to stop for the night. The room was old and small, very run down...

We made a reservation, both over the phone and by email, to spend the night on our way back to San Diego from Todos Santos. We were told that the price would be $40 - $50 for the four of us, three adults and one child in a room with two queen sized beds. We were also told that the...

This hotel was excellent. We had planned on stopping in Guerrero Negro, and so had researched possible hotels on Tripadvisor. Traveling by motorcycle does create certain parking requirements. Three of the hotels listed met our requirements, so when we arrived in town, we checked them out. The Malarrimo Motel quickly moved to the top of our list, and we were...

We stopped in Guerrero Negro to see the whales in Scammon's Lagoon. The camping area behind the motel was more set up for RV's and we tent camped, but all was clean and we used Malarrimo's services for whale watching too. All a great experience.

Driving the Baja, this is a great spot to stay overnight! The rooms are very clean (best in the town) and the restaurant is Top Quality! We have stayed here at least a dozen times and love the restaurant. Both the rooms and the RV Spots are very good. If you are in the area, be sure and stay here...

Malarrimo is the oldest hotel in Guerrero Negro and has been leading whale watching for just as long. What worked in 1973, needs updating in 2014. In the 5 days we spent in Baja, we found the Baja people helpful and friendly everywhere but here. If a travel company is going to use email communication, they need to communicate more...
