We went twice to this camping and loved it both time. Yes, you have the 'climb' a little bit to get to your site but the view is worth it. It's pretty clean and the staff is friendly. + Dogs are allowed so I could bring mine with me and he loved it too.

thankyou PeteBeaulieu, we can tell you get the place, yes, the view is totally worth it, but if you don't want to put in the physical effort there is always the option of buying the bag service and have your stuff delivered. Hope to see you again soon!

We rented the Sugarshack during Thanksgiving weekend and had a fantastic time surrounded by gorgeous maple trees and lovely highland cows :) The service was friendly and efficient, our shack was clean and the setting was really, really gorgeous. The trails are great and the alpine field offered some of the best stargazing we've ever had the chance to experience....

Well, thank you very much for the compliments. The beautiful summer weekend we had this October must take some credit, too, and yes, the clear crispy lights and "0" light pollution does make an amazing star gazing setting. If you like the look of our Highland cows, try the meat next time - delicious! Your Au Diable Vert team

We rented the "Sugar Shack" cabin for 3 nights with our 13 and 11 year olds and had a great time. Hiked up to Mohawk lake for a swim and just really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. If you enjoy nature and camping with a little more comfort this is perfect for you.

Hello Darryl, we'll have to give you 5stars as guest as well. You love all oiur efforts and always have a smile for us. If I could choose our visitors they'd all be like you guys. You get the place and enjoy it for what it is, rather than comparing it to one of a million hotel rooms. Good to...

We really had a great time there. Service is really great, the location is amazing and the camp sites are far from each other, deep on the forest. These are probably the best campsites I've experienced. You really can enjoy an experience on the forest. There's also plenty of activities. The river is nearby and you have access to trails....

Hello Patrick B, thanks for the awesome review. Yes, Dogs are welcome. You must have stayed on campsite #0, which is the only site the VeloVolant passes by. We kept the site open as the bikes only fly from 10h30 until 17h and we thought it wouldn't be to bothersome since most people are out on activities during the day....

We have camped at nearly all the government-run Sepaq camp sites near Montreal. This summer we wanted to try something new and found positive reviews of Au Diable Vert online. We stayed two nights here in our own tent and our experience was very good. PROS: - Beautiful location with valleys all around. - Less mosquitoes and black flies than...

Thank you so much we are happy you enjoyed your stay. We liked your comments about the kayaking. It is very much dependent on the individual and the weather.

The view was great from the Dream catcher but this is the only thing. Even my little daughter (6 years old) said: what's this place? no fridge, no toilets, no stove, no real bed but flies, flies, flies, day and night. You thing you will relax? Forget it, you will have a steel folding chair, you know like you have...

Hello Potvin_D, we are sorry you feel this way. We do our best to let you know what is furnished and what to bring on the website. We take pride that our rustic tree houses have no electricity and no water, which lets you experience a family vacation without TV and iPad. We love seeing families cook by the campfire,...

I convinced a good friend of mine to come camping with me and we had a blast. This place is so amazingly gorgeous. The young ladies at reception were so nice and helpful and the kubota guys as well. We just got back from a 4 nights stay at Au Diable Vert with our 2 daughters and 2 dogs. It was our first time there and we stayed in a Prospector tent (Ausblick) and a cabin (Sugar Shack). We started by going every year, without the kids, staying in a Mountain suite. Then discovered the rustic cabins, and started going with the kids. Now, I just wish we could go there every month! The owners, the staff, the location, the facilities - it's absolutely PERFECT.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Au Diable Vert is an unusual concept in the world of wilderness outfitters, agrotourism and recreotourism, but a concept that proves more and more popular and relevant each year. Instead of just a fishing rod or gun, our guests have the chance to appreciate nature and the spectacular view of the Appalachian and Green mountains, with binoculars, camera, hiking poles, a kite or the hand of a loved one. Facilitating the Quebec wilderness experience, no matter the season, is what we strive to do better and better each year. A compelling and unique choice of activities, range from exploring our mountain top site in the mountains, to splashing, paddling and fishing in the valley, to pedalling through the treetops on the unique-in-Canada VeloVolant canopy cycle. ... more   less
