Reviews are correct that this place has a poor first impression. Our group of 4 were given 2 recently renovated rooms. Basically a 1960's room repainted with a small fridge, good wifi, and flat screen TV. It was fine. I wouldn't count on bringing people back to entertain but the bed was comfy, room was clean and the stay was good. If adjusted for cost, it's actually a four star. The manager was very helpful with any question you had. Pool was being filled so no comment on that. Pool table and bar at front if you want to kill a couple hours. Yes, there may be somewhat permanent residents staying here and a few construction workers week by week but it was all good

If you think the pictures posted on the Iberville Motel site are somewhat scary, do not be fooled....it's worse than that. Talk about a scary place..went to check in and went to the "billiards room" I guess, should have had a flashlight as it was very dark and dank. It appeared as though a tornado went through in 1990 and it was never repaired. Finally got checked in and found the room to be a 2 star, bath towel (1) was the size of a face cloth and had to call to get two reasonably sized towels. Internet sort of OK but who knows who is watching you. TV viewing nearly non-existent but there was a HUGE ghetto blaster on the desk (circa 1970)....oh I could go on but it brings back to many gory memories....do not use this place at any cost...

Booked here due to no spots left at the Motel my folks were staying at. There was an odour as soon you go in the room, musty, stale smell. Stove was all rusted and old. Shady side town. Place is run down. Should have taken my cue when I walked into the reception and the couch was all torn up. Booked for 3 days but left the next morning. Went to return the key at 8:50a.m., sign on door said the ring bell and walk in...hard to do when the door was locked. Went back an hour later...door still locked. Left key in room. And wifi was terrible. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

This is the second time I have stayed in this motel, good price and nice receptionist, the room and the service are good compared what we paid, not far from Montreal, its the right place for a quick stay.

Okay for a one night stand, 2 Max, depending on your needs Out in the middle of no where, which might be ok if it was equipped with lights so that you could find in the dark / out at night time -- so be sure you get there in the daylight to know where you are at or have a GPS because you will never find this place. A walk in bar is in front of the location which does not look good for families. Desk area is run down and needs many repairs although check in was quick. Getting to the rooms was a trip in its self, like going down an alley.  Looks like, one set of rooms where being renovated but still requires a good deal of work. Not totally terrible for the dollar value.  Insufficient towels, and the quality were far too thin (only 2 small towels-not even a proper size for drying after a shower;  2 wash cloths and 1 hand towel) Needs a lot of repairs both at the front desk and the rooms -- would even be better if they would actually remove the older looking headboards on the beds and just use the wall instead.  The huge oversize wardrobe unit should also go and be replaced with an open linen shelf to place your cloths on.  These 2 small fix's would improve the room 100% better than what it is now and give a much nicer openness, homey atmosphere.  Visiting Saint-Jean for the first time ever, served the purpose since we were out during the day, and didn't arrive back till later, We might use this place again in a pinch but it won't be our first choice -- so the 2 night stay was the limit for us anything more than this, I would definitely look for another place to stay. Pictures are extremely deceiving Closest amenities are at least 5 km away
