The rooms in the Auberge were nice, but a little basic. Good size. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice view of the lake. The food in the restaurant was ok, but not great. But this place wins on the best outdoor activities for families. Incredible hiking...More

This hotel is a beautiful place to relax overlooking Lac Saint Joseph - the area offers lots of walks/hikes - long and short. The staff are very helpful - just appear when needed. The rooms are very accommodating and roomy. All rooms have a lake...More

I would say, no. There was a bit of a village not too far away. We didn't go there, but stayed on site, no need to leave. If you mean Quebec City, I think it's about maybe 1/2 -3/4 hour away? You can google that.
