From the enthusiastic welcome, in (excellent) Spanish, English and French, to the beautiful historic house, lovely garden and river access, to the obvious delight the host takes in the local area, travel, cuisine and hosting, this visit was delightful. The room was very comfortable, spacious and bright. The area is beautiful, and many of the town's attractive sites a short...

We stayed one night (regrettably only one) at this excellent B&B. It is situated in a cozy and charming old house in a convenient location. The rather unremarkable exterior betrays the quality of the inside: clean, well maintained, and nicely appointed. But what makes this B&B stand out is the enthusiasm, energy, creativity, knowledge and helpfulness of its host, Thierry...

Thierry was a fantastic host, helpful in every regard. Breakfast was a real highlight with 19 different homemade jams and several homemade breads on the table, and that was just the start. Short walk to a very fine French restaurant, a real find in such a small but cute village.

Boisé Joli is an exceptional B&B. Thierry, the host, is intelligent, charming, interesting, passionate and very friendly. Best breakfast we ever had. The old house is gorgeous with its antique furniture. It is very clean as well. We will be back!!!!!! Patricia and Myrna

Thierry was extremely welcoming and very hospitable. A great host who is well travelled and a delight to converse with. The rooms were lovely and very clean, stocked with fresh towels and linens. Breakfast was provided by Thierry and was an amazing treat. Homemade jams, bread, and delicious coffee to start the day! I would highly recommend anyone to Thierry's...

Au Boise Joli was a bed and breakfast we happened upon as part of a leisurely stroll in Saint Jean Port Joli. The host - Therry was excellent. He was very accommodating, a first-rate cook and made absolutely that our stay was comfortable. We will include this establishment and the community as part of our next eastern Canada trip! The...

The most impressive feature is the cleanliness of the property. Guests are requested to remove outdoor footwear and use slippers, either those supplied or your own while indoors. Bathrooms and showers are modern and kept very clean. Generous supply of towels and soap. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and, of course, very clean! Breakfast was limited to what was being...

The host Thierry is the highlight of Au Boisé Joli. He is delightful, interesting and multi-talented. His breakfast is wholesome, and garnished with herbs and edible flowers from his garden. He makes his own jams and marmelades which he sells, and the cheeses are local. Au Boisé Joli is not only a warm and friendly place to stay, but it...

At first appearance we were worried that we had chosen the wrong B&B: the front porch tends to lean a bit and the grounds seemed slightly unkempt. One should never make quick judgements. Our host, Thierry is a charming man who was willing to do anything for us. Our rooms were large and very clean. There is a patio way...
