The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. We stayed in the loft, which had two queen beds, a sitting area and a spacious private bathroom. When we woke up, we were welcomed with an out of a fairy tale setting. Fireplace on, gorgeous dinning room with fine China and an amazing breakfast. The coffee was delicious and always replenished. Fruit plates and a gorgeous yogurt parfait started off the warm service, provided by Fernand, an awesome host. The rest was a la carte, we had eggs with season potatoes and toast and even French Toast. Everything tasted amazing and gourmet. We will be back to say the least.

My wife and I spent two nights here during our visit to Mont Megantic Park and the Astrolabe. Francois was an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. He was able to arrange our tickets to the Astrolabe at a discount. More importantly, Francois tends a wonderful two acre garden, complete with chickens, and our breakfasts consisted of delicious fare from his garden. A very tidy and homey place to stay.

This B&B is very charming on all fronts. The beautiful garden setting with a breathtaking view of Mont Megantic, the warm hospitality and impeccable service from François, Jérémie and Chloé, the very varied and tasteful menu designed by Mélanie and the romantic maisonnette made this stay memorable.

This hotel is located in the highest village in Quebec. It is very beautiful in this village. Staying in this hotel was very pleasant, very relaxing and tasty. The hotel gives you a feeling of your own home, It's clean and quiet. Breakfast as absolutely delicious and original; made from their own herbs and vegetables, Their owners and staff were very friendly and nice. Please do not avoid this place while travelling in the region.

My wife and I stayed one night in the Verrière room. It was super clean and cozy. We had access to a nice verrière where we could sit in a hammock and relax. Morning breakfast was awesome, with healthy, local and fresh produces, presented with class ! We had a glass of sparkling wine in the backyard with magnificent vistas on Mont Megantic! I highly recommend this facility! Caroline and Luc the happy and lucky people of Casselman Ont.

We came for evenings of stargazing at nearby Mont Megantic. The stars were well hidden behind clouds all weekend. But we had a wonderful time thanks to Francois and Melanie. Melanie provided delicious breakfasts and Francois entertained and informed us. We will return in all seasons to discover more about this beautiful area.

Very pleasant stay. Warm, cozy space with good company and engaging (but not obtrusive) host. Wonderful spot near Mont Megantic Park, where we hiked and joined the snowshoe flambeau. Great rooms, quaint and well appointed. Very relaxed and tasty breakfast. Have stayed on two occasions and would recommend to friends and family.

I decided to take a chance on a bed and breakfast that I had found quaint on the outside the last time I had visited N-d-bois. I booked the 'Loft' at the Vaillanbourg for one night. What a hidden gem this place is!! The view of the mountains from our room was spectacular and the room was spacious and just lovely. I had also reserved the table d'hôte for me and my partner. I am a vegetarian and he is not so I didn't know how this would pan out... We were both blown away with our gastronomic master pieces. I enjoyed a cheese polenta and he a filet minion. Everything was local and delicious! The service was impeccable and our hosts interesting and charming. I am sure to go back and would recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone.

This is a warm homey place. Nice friendly people (Melanie & Francois), Located right on main street across a church. The house is three store high, ground floor is dinning living room area. Second and third floor are room with different sizes. I stayed at the third floor with two queensize bed, a private both room, the bed room is spacious and so is the bath room. They were kept spotless clean. At the ground level there are sun deck with tables, with BBQ. On the nice day we are able to sit out for breakfast lunch and dinner. Speaking about food, food there is just wonderful and tasty, Melanie only uses the fresh ingredients in her cooking, I virtually looking forward to every meal she cook, I would say she is as good as any 5 start hotel chief. The quality, the smell, the tastes, the presentation of food is just perfect. I strongly recommend that anyone visit should include the meal package. Or you will miss out something in your life.…

While heading home to Ontario, our van broke down on the main street of Notre Dame des Bois. Needing a place to stay until we could be towed in the morning, we were directed to this charming B&B. Melanie welcomed us to our great relief as we obviously had not booked in advance. We were given 2 large connected rooms on the second floor, perfect for a family of 4. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with all amenities included. The view from the back of the inn is spectacular with a stunning view of Mont Megantic...an absolutely beautiful setting to sit out on the chairs on a warm summer evening. The kids loved the playful cats as well as the turkeys and chickens out back. The inn has a small restaurant in the back where we enjoyed a much appreciated dinner in a town with few options for our unplanned stay. Thank you, Francois, for your hospitality! (By the way, Francois, it's 4 weeks later and our van is still in Sherbrooke!) Breakfast the next morning was wonderful...thank you, Melanie! If you ever find yourself near Mont Megantic or Notre Dame des Bois, I highly recommend you consider staying at this wonderful inn.…
