Friendly owner with a recommendable auberge. We had good diner and breakfast. The hotel is nicely decorated. Great area, good place for walking and making lot of pictures ;-). Nephew of owner can guide you through the mountains.

My wife and I stayed here for a night in August while on a road trip back to Ontario from Fredericton. The drive on the north shore of the St. Lawrence river is very beautiful. Lots of small villages and wonderful views of the river. We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant downstairs was top notch and...

Very nice, quaint, quiet and clean Auberge. Rooms are adorable and nice size. Check in was very easy! I would say the only negative point was the breakfast. Not impressed we were expecting better. I would definitely come back

My husband and I have been visiting this inn 3 times over the years; our last stay was in September 2016. We took the "forfait dégustation" Foodie package, which included a full supper (including trip on food), a night in a above-average room and A breakfast. The supper was good (although not as beautiful as the one we experienced at...

We stayed only one night, got to enjoy the spa and sauna (free but you have to reserve, which is nice since you are alone in it). The room was nice, with the roof en lucarnes. If you're looking for a B&B, this is not the spot : the warmth, character and coziness is missing. It really feels like a...

We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms in the small house next to the main Auberge building. The room was large and comfortable with a small balcony and fireplace. It would have been improved by air conditioning and a small fridge. The welcome at the Auberge is friendly but the decor is rather dated and in need of an...

Enjoyable ambiance, reserved a superior room in converted barn behind main lodge. Second floor rooms have a view of the distance St Lawrence. Rooms are adequate, luxurious linens on a large comfortable bed, fireplaces for cold months. A small room fridge would certainly be an added convenience for cool beverages after a day of exploring. There's a lounge, sunny breakfast...

Room so small we couldn't roll out our yoga mat. No cell service and poor internet. Pictures of rooms online are very deceiving. Because of my disappointment with the room I was hesitant about eating here but the meal was spectacular. I'd stay somewhere else but eat here again happily.

Thank you for taking time to comment about your stay. We do have a very good chef and such good comments about his cuisine are always appreciated. For the room, We have to admit that in the English version of our internet site, we do not mention that our regular rooms are small as we do on the French side....

We are a newly retired couple from the UK, in our 60s. The auberge was well-signposted when we’d gone over the bridge at La Malbaie. It’s near to Cap a L’Aigle. Room 28 is one of the bigger, ‘deluxe’ rooms on the top floor of the converted barn behind the main building. It is well-furnished with a settee and armchair,...

A cosy and quiet "Auberge" on the high cliffs overlooking the majestic St-Lawrence River. Small rooms with minimal amenities, i.e. no AC, no small fridge, however there is a fan and it is comfortable. Near the town of La Malbaie where restaurants are numerous as well as a nearby beautiful garden on the cliffs going downward to the shore with...
