I’m not a negative review writer. I typically try to write reviews that are positive. I cannot do that for this hotel. Feeling boxed in from an extended lockdown I decided to check into this hotel for the weekend. I had hoped to get some work done and relax. I took a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. I got up to my room and immediately realized they provide no dishes, cutlery pots and pans or anything. I contacted the front desk and they told me they could provide plastic forks and for $50 they would send up some pots. I went to the grocery store to pick up some food for the weekend and went back to my house to get pots pans, cutlery and dishes. Once I was finally set up, I plugged in my laptop to get a little bit of work done now that it’s quiet. I have been so looking forward to working without distraction. The Internet in this hotel is useless. How can you run a modern hotel without at least a reasonably fast Internet connection? I went down to the front desk to ask if perhaps there was a problem. The lady at the desk explained that that was the way it was. I’ve travelled a great deal, usually in third world countries the desire to meet a customer’s expectations is less than stellar. This is supposedly a very nice hotel, I was just shocked at how little they seemed to care. It’s unfortunate because I live right around the corner, but I won’t be coming back. And, tomorrow morning I’ll have to pack everything up again and find somewhere else. Needless to say, this hotel failed to meet my needs. Hopefully this is helpful for you reading this. It is clean, the sheets seem OK. It’s not terribly busy so you don’t have to wait long for an elevator. I suppose if I didn’t care about the Internet and I didn’t have a kitchen I wouldn’t be too upset. …
We stayed at this hotel on Thursday, March 12 and it was awesome! The check-in was on floor 12, which is the lobby. It was painless and efficient. The staff were excellent and even upgraded us free. Excellent place!
This has to be one of the best hotels in the city. rates are reasonable , the views are nice and the front desk service is great. They always get guests checked in/out in a very professional and efficient manner. I have travelled all over the world for business and pleasure and i would definitely rate this hotels service and staff as one of the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this hotel.
We were very impressed by the amenities that comes with the room. Room was very clean and comfortable. We also had a private bedroom and a living room. To add to this, the manager was very pleasing, obliging and very accommodating . He offered us a free up grade and a late check out up to one pm being a vip status. He also went out of his way to assist us for the parking in directing us to the correct parking location. I will definitely recommend my friends and relatives to this property David
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED. After we checked out, I'm guessing the "manager" called complaining how me and my girlfriend left a mess and were accused of hosting a party. Which was untrue. I did not host a party but I did put up happy birthday balloons for my girlfriend! We also got engaged that weekend. I have pictures and VIDEO of me not hosting a party. I made sure to do that because I knew I was going to get accused. The manager brought some BS taking about there is confetti all over the floor and its hard to clean. Vaccums were invented for a reason folks. And we arent going to talk about the yellow stains in the ice bucket, scratch marks on the wall and unsanitized washrooms. So if the hotel sees this please check the cameras, check for noise complaints, ask the neighbours to see if there was a party. Ridiculous.…
