Stayed here overnight as I had booked the morning ferry ride to Tobermory. The suite was nice, clean and relatively modern. Featured a queen and twin bed in my room, 3 piece washroom and even a little mini fridge. The lady working there was nice as well. Would recommend as a great place to stay in town.

We loved this place so much we came back three weeks later to stay again. Brenda is an amazing host, and so knowledgeable about Manitoulin. Both visits we stayed in room 3, lovely room very clean and comfortable with many lovely pieces of artwork on display, we will certainly return next summer. Highly recommend. Barb & Merv

My wife and I went up there for our wedding anniversary... We had a wonderful time at this BB. Rooms are very clean and the service is incredible. Cindy was very helpful and gave us a map with all the interesting activities and places to consider. We wanted to spend two days there but ended up spending 4 days!!! Thank...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our drive down from western Canada. It is a perfectly lovely B&B with "cottage cozy" being an apt descriptor for the accommodations. The hostess was very friendly and knowledgable, especially when we mentioned wanting to go for a short walk. If you have the chance, there are some terrific little hiking trails maintained...

not many choices here. average ! breakfast was good! close to ferry. Thats about it! got in late after 10 pm on last ferry. They left a note on the door and we checked in the next day. Maybe a little less focus on the gift shop and more on delivering basic accommodations..ie. clean, updated, organized, etc.

Jose and Brenda were great friendly hosts! Quick Points Pro: - 30 seconds away from the wharf, water, pubs and dinning spots - individual rooms make for nice privacy - mini guest houses - a/c window units - clean units - fire pit in the evening - continental style breakfast Quick Points Cons: - housing units are "rustic" - poor...

Jose is a wonderful host, and the individual cottages make for nice privacy, nestled in a little village right by the water and the wharf where the Chi Chi Maun docks. Very convenient. Simple, clean accommodations, nice breakfast room to eat in, welcoming fire pit/outdoor deck for evenings.

We took the late Chi-Cheemaun ferry (departing 8PM in Tobermory) and arrived in South Baymouth. I had booked the Southbay Guesthouse about a week prior to arriving. We were so happy we took the evening ferry and started our journey the next day from the island. Southbay Guesthouse is practically steps away from departing the ferry. So convenient and very...

The Southbay Guesthouse is a wonderful little B&B. Though you may not find it on AirBnB or Google Maps don't fear, you have found a gem. The host is a friendly gentleman and is willing to sit a chat or give your privacy. He provides a respectable breakfast with eggs, toast, and fruit parfaits. As well as a selection of...
