My sons and I have stayed here 4 years in a row now, and have had a consistently wonderful trip on each visit. We do the "American Plan" and rent a pontoon boat and a guide each time. We basically show up with our fishing rods and toothbrushes and they look after everything else. Harold and Ingrid (and their extended...

Had the most wonderful, relaxing time at Wolseley Lodge! The hosts Harald and Ingrid were friendly and well informed on where to go fishing...(and actually catch some fish) They even recommended where to go to take scenic pictures. I even got to see 3 different birds of prey in one week(out in the wild;not caged up) They hosted a fire...

Not all were productive but the few that were yielded a sufficient quantity of pickerel to feed the four of us during our shore side lunch. Our french fries...

They will acquaint you with your responsibilities (bring your pleasure craft licence), provide you with tasty dinners (ie. pickerel, steak, schnitzel and ??), large lunches packed in a cooler,...

Our cabin was comfortable, clean and exactly as expected...it was your grandmothers cottage. The food on the American plan was straightforward, simple and good. Breakfast was fantastic. The pickerel dinner was excellent, and the homemade wiener schnitzel with a mushroom hunter sauce was great. The box lunches for fishing were fresh and the butter cookies a nice surprise. The Friday...
