My wife and I stayed here for three nights while taking in the 2012 Canadian Golf Open and thoroughly enjoyed a restful stay and wonderful breakfasts at Ridgemoor! We stayed in the Looking Down the Lane room which features a large room with a queen bed and a couple of sitting chairs, an ensuite with a claw tub and large...

Thanks for taking the time to write your review. The pool continues to be appreciated by guests and has remained very clear all summer. The trumpet vine flowers have peaked but the hummingbirds don't seem to care. Best of luck with your IT jobs. Really did enjoy our conversations. cheers, Bill

Bill was an accommodating and attentive host who made sure that we were well taken care of. A friend and I stayed in the "View of Pond" room which has two comfortable twin beds and a private bathroom off of the main hallway. It was the perfect place to sleep after attending a wedding at Knollwood Golf Club as it...

Thanks for the review. Many people use our B&B when attending Knollwood weddings. Although our properties are only about a quarter mile apart the homes are about 3 quarters of a mile apart and the rural roads are unlit. The last group here of 6 took a cab van home from knollwood last w/e and were charged $6.95. I didn't...

We found The Ridgemoor on line while searching for a place to stay near the Knollwood Golf Club where we attended a wedding. This is a spacious home with lots of room to enjoy indoors and outdoors. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A great spot with a top notch host. Bill made us feel welcome and treated us to...

Various family members stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding at the Knollwood Golf Course around the corner. It was comfortable, quiet and fully met our needs. Bill's friendly and attentive service was much appreciated, as was his excellent breakfast.

Thanks for the kind words. I enjoyed meeting all the people in your group. Weddings are great for getting relatives together. We've heard many good things about the Knollwood weddings from others as well. cheers, Bill

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, visiting relatives in the Dundas/Burlington/Hamiltion Area. Very quiet and relaxing situation, tucked away from the road, in a small wooded area, fantastic breakfasts, and a great host, well recommended, will definately stay here again.

My wife and I were in the area to attend a local event. We booked and stayed for two nights. The location was like a private hide away set back in the woods away from all traffic and yet near enough to enjoy all the amenities of the area. We will definitely visit again when next in the area. Well...

Thanks for the review. It is peaceful back here in the woods, thats the main reason for being here 29+ years. Shaver road gets busier and busier but I never hear it having a beverage on the front porch or by the pool. cheers, Bill

My wife and I spent the weekend at Ridgemoor. It was to be our "launching pad" to Toronto, Niagara Falls and Stratford. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the peaceful woodlot and ended up spending more time at Ridgemoor than we had planned. Morning conversations with Bill were very pleasant and his pancakes were delicious. We plan to make it...

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The Red Hill Creek Expressway has sure opened up our location to the Niagara wine region. The pool is clear and warming up. The hot tub is 102F and perfect for star gazing. cheers, Bill

My husband and I stayed at the Ridgemoor after a family wedding in Ancaster. The B&B is a lovely old home nestled in the woods, and our room was lovely, clean, and very very homey. Our host Bill was an absolute gem - he went out of his way to make us feel at home! In the morning, I took...

Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure having you stay here and I'll tell "Z" you're dreaming about his honey. Since his hives have been on the property the only way you would know they are here is from the greater number of flowers. Glad you were able to experience running the quiet rural roads around here before breakfast....

My husband and I felt more relaxed as soon as we arrived on the property. Gorgeous surrroundings and hidden away. The building itself was also beautiful. Bill made sure to make everything as comfortable as possible. Delicious hearty breakfasts, homemade syrup was an extra treat.

Thanks for the review. Glad to hear you felt relaxed being here. I've felt the same way for the 30 years I've been here. Got the hot tub running to-day (with help from Neal from Bud's) so this W/E will be even more relaxing. cheers, Bill (the innkeeper)
