I was impressed with this hotel. It was nicer than I expected. The curb appeal is a little rustic, but inside it is quite nice. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about but if you are on a tight budget, it is a nice alternative to eating out for breakfast; I also stayed off-season, so maybe breakfast is... Great staff - friendly and helpful. Junior Suite has cooking facilities - but you have to wash your own dishes. Mini fridge, stovetop, coffee maker (no coffee) -- no kettle, no oven. Lightbulbs missing or not working in room. Not overly clean. Breakfast is cereal, toast, juice, coffee. Water cooler in lobby. I've stayed at other places in Inuvik and... More

I feel like I'm repeating myself, but everywhere we went in the NWT/Yukon there were always friendly people, and staff! After a few days camping along the Dempster Highway, our room at the Nova Inn was welcomed with open arms! A hot shower, and use of the laundry room ($10 fee) was excellent to continue our vacation. :) The rooms... More

Nice little place. The new girl on the desk was excellent and gave me a tip on a great delivery food service. Room is and big except some stains on the bench and desktop chair. Burns on the carpet look old. TV is a decade past replacing and is almost dead. If it was updated this would be one of... More

Inuvik was the destination of a very long motorcycle ride. I was weary from the road and a muddy mess. My experience from similar trips was to have low expectations and just enjoy a warm room with a bed. The Nova Hotel was far beyond my expectations. The facility was clean and surprisingly nice and well appointed. The room was... More

Decent, clean rooms and good service. A little rough around the edges in some of the facility conditions, but likely your best option for lodging in Inuvik. No restaurant on site, but continental breakfast available. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I was working in Inuvik for the week. This hotel was clean, well kept and helpful staff. I bit out of town but a 10 mns walk from the Legion and post office. 2 mns from the Western Arctic Tourism Centre (still not open - problem due to no staff). Breakfast continental at best, eat at the Mackenzie or pick... More

The Nova Inn...I wanted it to be a much better experience than it was. The Desk Staff (young guy)were friendly and they were pet-friendly and I appreciated that. That was the best part of the experience though. They still have rooms available for smokers, and that's great if you are a smoker, I am not. My room was in the smoking... More

This was our second stay at Inuvik's Nova Inn, one of the newer hotels in this northern town. Northern construction employs a lot of wood and tends to be somewhat less sound proof, allowing you to be aware of your neighbor's TV, for example. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are sumptuously comfortable. An attractive and classy feature... More

Very friendly staff. Our room was very spacious and clean with a fire place to enjoy. The room was very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located and close to everything you might need, restaurants although there aren’t many choices and big grocery store. The parking place outside is gravel and not muddy as I have seen at other places... More
