We booked a 2 night stay in caboose 10. Loved the accommodations. Very unique and fun staying in a nicely converted caboose. The landscaping could use some improvement, but perhaps the overgrown look is intentional to give a realistic feel to a retired train yard. Staff was okay, but seemed exhausted, disorganized, and not hugely outgoing. At check in we...

This Inn is a little gem. We arrived later than expected, lbut we had a nice welcome letter waiting for us. The box car Jimmy was opened and waiting for us. We were able to have dinner in the dining car and the food was fantastic...local food and local wine and beer. The room is well appointed but the bathroom...

I visited here with our family including two young children. It was honestly the highlight of their trip. They loved sleeping in a train car and playing at driving the train. The owner was dressed up in the uniform of the station master and the kids were delighted to get their 'train ticket' punched by the station master. The room...

We came to visit the Train Station Inn last August 2014 and really enjoyed the stay. Now it is our second visit here and we have decided to come back every year in the summer! This is definitely a place for family with kids or couple for romance. Every time, the owner, Jimmy, will welcome us warmly and we love...

This was our second visit at the train station in. We stopped by for lunch in my wife's birthday. Food was delicious and prices are very reasonable for the quality. This is a family friendly establishment and our kids enjoyed finding out about the story behind each rail car. I find the story of this place quite fascinating. (Won't spoil...

Truly a step back in time. The office is in the gift shop that offers some interesting items. A very friendly staff made check-in easy and offered some insight into how this property came into being. A true story of a local boy doing something good for the whole town. We stayed in the "honeymoon suite" - car #10 -...

First time we enjoyed exquisite dining in the dining car, returned again with our young granddaughter for an overnight and again this past few days with two more grandchildren. Tatamagouche is a gem, close to great beaches, charming stores, and the train station is above and beyond. Staff are very caring and there for your every need. The food is...

What wonderful work in transforming this train station Into such a beautiful, comfortable accommodation! Loved our Caboose #5 - with everything you want to find in your hotel/B&B room. The whole site has been designed with care and thought, everything fits. Our dinner in the unique Dining Car, and the breakfast in Jitney Cafe were really good (especially my blueberry...

having retired from CN Rail and had the chance to ride in a wooden caboose way back in 1967 it was a thrill of a life time to be able to sleep in one! and what an excellent job of creating it into a lovely room. seeing other caboose's and cars and to see the station, it was like turning...

We had a wonderful stay in the caboose! The breakfast was delicious at the cafe with beautiful corn muffins baked by the staff. Miles of walking trails. Definitely worth a visit. I would definitely recommend updating what they have to offer at the curiosity shop though. A good buyer with a keen eye for unique nicknacks and gifts outside of...
