We had a family stay in a two bedroom cottage with our two toddlers and dog. The cottage was cozy and clean. We had access to our own barbecue which was awesome for our meals. There is a playground which our toddlers loved and a basketball net. We found out that the beach was pretty far away so we didn't...

The cottages are clean and a good size, tucked away within the trees, and evenly spaced for privacy. It's very peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately there was a fire ban on, so we didn't get to enjoy a cozy fire. Our family had a great time and our fur family felt welcomed too. The only drawbacks were the lack of swimming...

We arrived and unpacked in the cottage the lady brought us up to. After about 1 hour of being unpacked, she came up and apologized as she told us to pack up our things as we had to move to a different cottage. We went from "The Eagle" to something much smaller and farther away. We were not impressed at...

No idea what this is about, checked our reservations for April and found nothing that would indicate these people stayed here. sounds as if this is personal.

We had to get away from the rush rush rush of the city and just enjoy a weekend without a phone, computer, or any city noise. Well, we found the spot alright ! These cabins are right in the trees on the Fundy shore and only an hour 1/2 from the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Peaceful tranquility and no noise...

Very pleased to find that Tidal Ridge is open year round. Our cabin was cozy and warm. Very important for February in Nova Scotia. We found them both well maintained and well outfitted. The kitchen having everything we needed to prepare a meal. The owners, Ken and Charlotte, were lovely hosts and pleased to share their little piece of heaven....

The three days we spent at the Eagle cottage were great. The cottage was spotless, the beds very comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing. Charlotte and Ken are great people, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, we had a lot of laughs, and a few drinks with them. When the owners treat you so wonderfully,...

This area of Nova Scotia is worth exploring. We took a drive to Advocate on Charlotte's advice and it was breath - taking . We spent three nights with family and friends and time just went on us. Good meals in the evening and bonfires and washer toss by the river in the evenings made for lots of fun times....

“Check out the pictures the owners provide on the internet, they seem to be a good representation of what you will walk into.”

“The Blue Jay and Robin cottages (2 bedroom and 1 bedroom respectively) have large flat screen TV's while the Eagle (our cottage had a older model TV. The Blue Jay and Robin cottages have flatter yards easier cottage access (fewer steps). The Eagle on the other hand has a very steep yard surrounding the property and many steps to reach the cottage. I would strongly suggest older, less mobile travellers avoid the Eagle cottage.”
