From welcoming hosts, squeaky clean, spacious, trendy, private room in an extremely beautiful house on a quiet street to an area with plenty of beauty to explore for a few days, our stay was a lost corner of the maritimes. Not much in the town of Parrsboro in mid- October although a sweet little beer stop and a popular family restaurant open all year. 10 minutes from town but no reason to be in the town! If you are lucky the hosts may cook a dinner for you. We enjoyed that. Oh, and the breakfast really is special.

A wonderful stay at the Fox Point Inn. In the heart of Blueberry country with a view of the Bay of Fundy. A lovely Inn with wonderful food and staff. Our 2 nd floor room was large with a sitting area, very clean and well equipped with a shared deck overlooking the rural setting. The food was wonderful, we happened upon a night when Chef ( Alex) was preparing an Indian theme evening. The meal was wonderful with several courses, definitely a meal to remember. Breakfast was included with several choices of items. Scott the owner, was very friendly and ensured our stay was pleasant. Definitely will be back. Thank you Scott and staff especially AK for a great stay.

Thanks to Scott and Marion, the Fox Point Inn is a wonderful get-away. It is a fascinating inn with a rich history, and the location is the perfect spot to explore the interesting Bay of Fundy, complete with the notorious tidal swings and the Jurassic dinosaur history. Scott and Marion provide a warm and lovely "home away from home," including 5-star breakfasts. This was a most memorable and unique vacation and we loved every minute of the Fox Point Inn.

Fox Point Inn is located just outside Port Greville and is easy to find. The property has been fully renovated and the accommodations are first class complete with top quality furnishings and amenities. The king size beds are really comfortable and our spacious room included a seperate sitting area and an outside patio. Marion and Scott are the ultimate hosts who ensure their guests have everything they may need (including a jacquzzi tub!) - Breakfasts are included in the room rate and ours was both hot and delicious and ensured we did not need food the rest of the day. We will certainly stay here again.

Hosts, Marion and Scott, have a beautiful place to rest, relax and refresh. We chose the upper west unit, which shares a large deck with a view of the Bay of Fundy (technically one of the Bay's basins). With the other unit on the top floor unoccupied, we had the deck for ourselves for the evening and after our delicious breakfast. My sis-in-law has an egg allergy, and Marion and Scott were so accommodating with an egg free breakfast. Our unit was spotless and very comfortable. When you visit, say Hi to the chickens, spend some chatting time with Scott and Marion and take a walk to the shore. It's been a week since I was there, and the wonderful sense of relaxation is still with me.

The scenic Parrsboro Shore is well known to us and has always been one of our favourite regions of Nova Scotia. Solely by chance we came across a mention of the Fox Point Inn and despite living just 1hour distant we had never heard of it until a few days before recently having visited with another couple.
On arrival we were warmly greeted by Marion who with her husband Scott is the owner of this thoroughly delightful property located just off highway #209 which runs through particularly scenic countryside from Parrsboro to Advocate Harbour. The meal was really delicious and was efficiently served by the very friendly and helpful staff after having been beautifully prepared by Marion, who is herself an accomplished chef.
Given the proximity of the Fox Point Inn to where we live my wife and I, along with our friends who accompanied us, will all look forward to future opportunities to experience both their hospitality and what we know will be their most enjoyable cuisine.

It's amazing that after living 18 years in this province we have barely touched the Fundy Shore around Parrsboro. There is far more to see and do in this region than we suspected (even in early April) and now that we have stayed at Fox Point Inn we have a problem - I'm not sure we are willing to stay elsewhere! All aspects of our stay were phenomenal, from our hosts Marion and Scott to the unique architectural history of the house, the wonderful room and most impressively the meals.
We stayed in the Main East room with a full kitchen, just off the main dining area. It is clear from entering the house that it was designed by an architect and though Scott and Marion have done significant work to transform it into an Inn, they have carefully maintained the original character of the house as it was originally designed.
If you get a chance, talk to Marion and Scott about the history of the house and certainly read the material included in the room about Keith Graham, the architect who designed the house for himself.
Though we only stayed for two days we were commenting on the drive home how it seemed like we were away for longer than that which I always take as a very good sign that we entirely enjoyed ourselves.
The meals were fabulous - we had one breakfast, one dinner and Easter brunch and Marion is a fantastic cook. I'm still wondering what kind of a bribe it will take to extract the pickled carrot salad recipe from her! ;)
We are already making plans for a return this summer.

Patricia & Bryan, Ahhh thank you for the review, we are certainly proud of this little hideaway. It is so difficult to try and explain the property to anyone and really the only way to experience it, is by coming to see it for yourselves! And so very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Just think of all the fun things that you can explore on your next visit. Our doors are always open. Take good care until we see you both again! Scott & Marion

We stayed at Fox Point after a busy day kayaking on the Bay. Our only wish was that we had booked more time to stay! Scott and Marion are the most genuine and relaxed hosts - making their place feel as much like your home as possible. The view on the upper deck is picturesque. The breakfast is divine. The room was spotless and spacious. Without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Nova Scotia. We hope to be back!

Was in Parrsboro overnight for a concert. The Fox Point Inn exceeded expectations. The grounds are lovely , pastoral, with seating to relax and enjoy. The inn is a charmer…, rich in history, welcoming and comfortable. Our spacious room spotless with a comfortable king size bed , great pillows, sitting room…no detail overlooked. We had a semi private deck with a water view. Our hosts ,Marian and Scott , clearly enjoy sharing their property and work in concert to serve a 5 star breakfast and ensure a delightful stay. We will most certainly stay here again.

We had a truly fantastic stay here. Marion and Scott are kind and welcoming and make an absolutely incredible breakfast. The room was modern and clean and the property was beautiful. We'll be back! We were told they are open year-round so this could be a great winter cross-country skiing spot as well.
Would particularly recommend if you have a dog or cat - this was the most pet friendly B&B we stayed at our entire stay in the maritimes.

Hello Chickadee,
Both months are beautiful on our shore. But if I MUST decide between June or September I would say September.... we have a very long fall, so it is splendid with all the colours and the bay of Fundy 500 meters from the Inn....stunning beach walks!
Hope to see you in 2023....stay healthy until then.
