My husband, teenage daughter and I spent one night at Bayview Pines. Room was very clean and comfortable, especially for a room for 3 which is hard to come by. Lovely country setting in a good location. Hearty breakfast with good variety and quality.

Needed a place close to the Halifax Airport (it's about an hour away) for our last night after a 2 week road trip all over Cape Breton and mainland NS. Wish we had more time, this B&B is a few minutes away from "downtown" Mahone Bay out on Indian Point. Beautiful view of the bay, set way back from the...

We were attending wedding festivities at nearby Oak Island Resort, which was sold out, so we stayed one night at Bayview Pines. The property is beautifully situated on rolling green hills, right beside the ocean. We stayed in the "Captain's Room", which was nicely appointed and very clean. A nice ocean view and big windows to open for the sea...

We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights for a family vacation in August 2015. Having stayed right in Mahone Bay on our previous visit and found it rather hectic and noisy, we decided to try Bayview Pines instead. I think we found paradise! Only about 10 minutes from the town of Mahone Bay, and 5 minutes from the highway, the...

No cereal here folks the particular night we stayed the next morning the owner served Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. She also followed with toast but I can't comment I was full. Beds were very comfy all was clean and lovely...

You can sit on the front porch and look at the bay. 5 min. drive to Mahone Bay shopping area but stores close at 5:00p.m. About a 15 minute drive into Lunenberg. Chris & Joanne were very pleasant hosts. Served a nice breakfast before we got on the road again. Bed...

After an unfortunate mix up in reservations at another property, Bayview was able to accomodate for three nights at the businest time of year. It worked out better than could be expected. The view of the bay is excellent and it's so quiet you can almost hear the two guinea fowl pecking in the garden!! Breakfasts were extremely good, with...

Our gathering of 19 adults spent a week at the Bayview Pines and took over all the rooms, also enjoying use of the common rooms, decks and lawn. Joanna and Chris were exceptional hosts, helping us with the details to make for a great week, treating us to sumptuous breakfasts, warm senses of humor, hiking tips and in all, going...

We stayed two nights here. A little ways out of Mahone Bay with its own view. Lovely grounds. We were in the old barn and the accommodations were lovely. Joanna served a beautiful breakfast for us and we very much enjoyed her hospitality.
