It's true. I have run out of superlatives for this B&B. On the eve of my departure after 6 days here, I think I have a pretty good handle on the quality of place and service. First of all place: this is a lovingly and appropriately restored Victorian house in gorgeous Granville Ferry. When you stay in a lot of...

I was here for business, but Bill and Ann Marie made it feel like I was re-visiting dear friends! This is my most favorite B&B, and I look for excuses to stay there. Their passion for their ancestral home, and for hospitality, is evident at every turn. I was greeted warmly upon my arrival with a fire in the fireplace...

It's everything a B&B is supposed to be: gracious older home overlooking the water, spacious room with all the fixings, delicious home-cooked breakfast served in dining room chatting with other guests. The hosts, Bill and Anne Marie, are immediately friendly, just like you've known them for years, with lots of good conversation and helpful information on the local area. Only...

My two nights at the Seafaring Maiden were wonderful. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, homemade and using many local ingredients. The hosts are the kindest, and most accommodating people, who will give you tourism tips, hiking info, and good conversation. Will definitely be back.
