Very comfortable & historic B&B run by Suzi the owner. We had a lovely shabby-chic suite that fit our needs perfectly. Oh so comfortable bed - did not want to get up! Great breakfast. Picturesque little town that simple words cannot describe. Citizens of this enclave are extremely friendly & accomodating. Do visit!

We enjoyed the hospitality and ambience of the Mecklenburgh Inn 14 years ago. It was lovely, so we decided to repeat the experience 14 years later and are glad we did. Very comfortable, clean rooms, a relaxed host and a delightful breakfast. Suzi is celebrating 25 years in the B & B business; she must know something about it! Chester...

After almost 10 years of annual stays, staying at "the Meck" is like staying at a friend's place, but that exceptional level of service is offered to everyone, not just regulars. If you are travelling anywhere on the South shore, press on to Chester and stay with Suzi and Jet. Highly recommended.
