Just a fabulous location. The inn has a fantastic view and fantastic hosts to match. You will certainly enjoy the Graves Island provincial park just a cross the way. Chester is home to great antiques, gastromony, play house and yachts!

My husband and I booked a room via e-mail, at this place in June 2016, and our reservation was confirmed in June, by e-mail, for Sept 16-18 in the Lighthouse room. We travelled from another province to Nova Scotia to attend a wedding. We arrived at the Grey Gables mid afternoon and went inside and Jacqui greeted us by saying...

To all future guest: This is not true and in seven years I have not missed a booking. I double up on everything. These were not guests and never got past my front door. They were demanding and pushy. They seemed to have been fighting before hand and decided to take their frustrations out on me. I was having no...

Travelling from New Zealand, we wanted to experience the Maritime hospitality that we had heard about. And Gray Gables delivers! Great food, stellar accommodation, terrific hosts. Jacqui and Dave go the extra mile. Central location to all there is to see and do, with great tramping trails you can walk to at the domain down the road. Spa is a...

Our room was spotless, modern and our every need provided for. We ate at the golf club one night and the Rope loft another. Both were great with...

My wife and I stayed at Gray Gables during a recent trip to Nova Scotia for a friends wedding. We had never stayed at a B&B before so didn't really know what to expect walking in, but we were amazed as soon as we walked into our room. The view was incredible and the bed and layout were far better...

We stayed several days in the main floor Ocean Mist room which is very accessible (not for wheelchairs) for seniors. This is a Canada Select B&B and deserves its high rating. Our room was very spacious with two easy chairs, private tv and even a fireplace if needed. The bathroom offered an easy walking shower and jacuzzi tub. We had...

Their service was exceptional, the house spotless and beautifully furnished (beach theme), the breakfasts were always different and delicious. We needed a rest from our hectic schedules back...

Wonderful bed and breakfast. The breakfast was great. Hosts were personable. Rooms are well maintained and decorated. Great view from an amazing deck! Walking distance to park with walking trails. Recommended restaurants by Jacqui were excellent. Would definitely recommend it. We will surely return if ever in the area.
