It's a lovely spot. Staff in shop were not friendly nor helpful. We were looking for just some tastings and we were directed to the pub. Path and area were were picturesque. Pub/restaurant were not busy (3 other customers), we were looking over the menu while standing at the bar for some time. No one bothered to offer any assistance... More

A lovely look place with an Inn, Pub and Distillery. One of the rare places in the world that is able to call its single malt whisky "Scotch". There is a little stream of pristine water which runs through the property and its water is used in the production of the whisky. There are old apple trees on the property... More

Came to the area to golf at the Cabot resort, but could not get a room at Cabot, so we booked two rooms at the Glenora Inn & Distillery. It was a short drive to the courses, so very convenient. They actually make whisky here and give tours to anyone who wants to see how it's done - recommended. I'm... More

We were in town to play golf at nearby Cabot Links/Cabot Cliffs. They were all booked at the resort so we stayed in a nice cottage here at Glenora Inn which was only a short drive from the course. Turned out to suit our needs just great!

I had wanted to stay here for some time having been before just for the tour. The setting, especially in fall with the colourful trees is stunning. We took a walk up the hill to see the chalets taking the full loop cars would take. It was a 45 minute stroll, perfect before getting ready for dinner. We usually stay... More

Reservations for dinner before a Celtic festival evening. The venue is out a ways from the built up areas of Mabu so plan accordingly. The restaurant and bar are attached to the distillery. Many food items have a whiskey overtone to their sauces.. All very good. Nice dining room, windows overlooking a courtyard only ok. Dinner servings ample. 1 appetizer... More

We stayed in a cabin above the distillery. The cabin was nicely finished inside with a sleeping loft, bedroom, living room with wood stove and kindling, kitchen and bathroom. We arrived late and left the next day so weren't able to utilize the cabin to its full potential especially since there was a bar and dining room below at the... More

The menu for Thanksgiving Dinner featured 2 Entrees. Glenora Distillery did not provide their full menu . I choose salad to start followed by the traditional turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravey, & vegetables . The highlight was ginger cake desert! Their deserts are exceptional they use fresh ginger. Many of their desserts include a delicious Glenora whiskey sauce. There... More

Very nice little spot. A bit pricey for the room & food. Overall still a nice place to stay and very clean. People were friendly. Had the pleasure to listen to local live Fiddle and piano music. Nice addition to the evening!

The four of us arrived 40 minutes before lunch service was to end, and were looked at askance by a manager. We insisted that we would order whatever was quickest to cook on the menu, but wondered why, with 40 minutes left, we would be treated as if we were somehow inconveniencing the kitchen. My parents ordered fish and chips,... More
