Not only were the accommodations welcoming, comfortable, elegant, clean and efficient and breakfast friendly and tasty, and not only did our hosts provide the perfect dinner and evening entertainment recommendations, but also, after we had checked out not realizing we had forgotten one of our suitcases, one of the staff drove to the nearby Louisbourg Fortress, found our car in...

Cranberry Cove Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Louisbourg. It is a beautiful old Victorian home that was built around 1900, and has been well maintained. Details include crown molding, beautiful hardwood floors, pocket doors, large spacious rooms, just to mention a few. We stayed in the field and stream room, which was lovely and quite spacious. The...

We booked 3 nights here whilst visiting the area and it was everything we could wish for. Old world charm and a huge bed which was very comfortable. Excellent service by the staff and a huge choice for breakfast from cereals to fruit to hot food. Another nice touch is that complimentary tea/coffee is available on request and overnight there...

We spent 2 nights at the wonderful Cranberry Cove. For me it was a return visit as I had previously stayed there in 2002. Happily it was the same or better. Our host, David, was so very accommodating. On our last morning we had to leave before breakfast and David prepared a delicious breakfast so we could eat before hitting...

Ignore the distance noted in TripAdvisor -- this place is smack in the middle of Louisbourg, and is probably the best located inn (main drag and very near the Louisbourg historic site). This house was owned by the original family for 95 years, and the interior has been kept charmingly unchanged, with the exception of the plumbing which is wonderfully...

Had an absolutely fantastic stay here on out drive around Cape Breton. The house was spotless, the hosts were hospitable, the breakfast was delicious. The B&B is just minutes away from the fort and has good WiFi and free parking. Highly recommended.

A beautifully restored Victorian Inn. We had a very pretty and comfortable room within walking distance of dinner and the evening's entertainment. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The room had a large sitting area. Breakfast includes eggs benedict (very good), fruit, and cereal...all very good. They had a selection of books that you could borrow too.

From the moment we drove into the parking lot until we left we knew this would be an awesome place. The rooms are individually named and decorated in various themes. All are spacious and comfortable with private bathrooms that include jacuzzi tubs. There are comfortable sitting areas in each room as well for relaxing and reading. The beds were nice...
