Stayed here for a night as we began our Cabot Trail tour. Our room had a comfortable queen bed and a sofa bed for our son. The A/C worked well. Breakfast was continental except for good waffles made to order. Overall a nice experience.
The clue is in the name! We had a large comfortable room overlooking Lake Bras d'Or. We stayed one night and there was a range of weather - warm sunshine through to heavy rain - and the view was always stunning. We enjoyed a boat...More
Great spot right on the water with lovely views. Easy walk to food, Alexander Graham Bell site and the pier for kayaking or sailing excursions. Awesome staff gave great recommendations for hikes in town and on the Cabot Trail.

In my review of Water's Edge from last November I included a photo of the bottom level of Rose Cottage. The room was spacious and very comfortably furnished with a nice view across the road to the water. The cottage is right next door to the main building with easy access to the breakfast room. We had a very enjoyable night in Baddeck and would highly recommend this inn.
