I think that B&Bs should have 2 ratings, one for the proprietor and one for the accommodation, The rating for Willie would be a 5 star without a doubt. He was helpful, charming and knowledgeable. The accommodation would be a 3 1/2 star. It was very comfortable, clean and convenient but if you are looking for a 5 star place... More

Only could enjoy this guesthouse for one night as we traveled. Lovely, spacious room with a private outdoor seating area, along with the roof top terrace. Just 2 blocks from "downtown," so it's a quick, convenient walk for meals. Gina is wonderful and Willie is a hoot! A comfortable bed, kitchenette, hot shower with massage head, nice towels, soap and... More

We stayed here in August on our very first visit to Baddeck and could not have chosen better accommodation. Willie and Gina were friendly, funny, knowledgeable, warm, and gracious. The suite we were given was the family suite on ground level, with a front bedroom, a sitting room with TV and kitchenette in the middle, and a back bedroom and bathroom.... More

Willie and Gina were gracious and welcoming and brought some laughs into our stay. We stayed in the ground level space which was great. Very private, kitchenette, and a porch out back. The bed was smallish, maybe a full, but overall a very clean and comfortable space. A short walk to down town. Don't even hesitate, you will enjoy your... More

Willie and Tina have some great rooms/appartments. All with kitchen en veranda. Both Willie and Tina are great hosts. Love to talk to their guests and help them making the best out of their stay. Lots of information and tips. The rooms were pleasant situated at the backside, so great views and no street noise. Privat parking.

We stayed for 4 nights and highly recommend Worn Door Step. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Accommodation is great - clean and bright with a compact kitchen if you like to do a bit of cooking. Easy access to the Cabot Trail and Louisberg and Baddeck is a cute town - the Bell Museum is very interesting. Highly... More

I originally had planned to stay elsewhere while in Baddeck, but changed my mind based on the reviews for The Worn Doorstep. I'm so glad that I did. The key elements to a happy stay at a B&B are clean, comfortable rooms and gracious hosts. The Worn Doorstep is terrific on both of these points. Our rooms were in a basement but had separate outdoor entrances. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and we were happy there. The hosts were just superb! Could not be friendlier... More

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Worn Doorstep for 4 nights. Willie & Gina welcomed us like we were family. Their hospitality was second to none! The rooms are very spacious with a kitchenette/living room area and were spotless! Towels were first rate & the best we had in 2 weeks of traveling in Nova Scotia. It... More
