We stayed here for two nights and made our reservation months in advance. We were in the Fisher Cove Room with a bathroom ensuite. It was a small room in what might be the oldest building they have. If you are six feet or over, I would not recommend this room because you will need to duck every time you...

We stayed in the Admiral's Lookout cottage and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very spacious, with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, several living spaces and a large, very well-equipped kitchen. It is right on the ocean, so the views are amazing, but also right in town so we could walk everywhere. It was very clean, comfortable and...

Had an excellent three night stay in Cove Cottage at the Artisan Inn. We were there last year for two nights and enjoyed it so much that we came back this year for three nights! Everything you need is in this fully equipped location....if you're missing something (e.g. an iron) ....you just haven't found it yet. No hesitation whatsoever in...

We stayed for one night at The Artisan Inn in the Barbor House Cove View Room. The building is a heritage house with a cozy feel to it. All the amenities we needed were available with a shared small refrigerator and coffee maker just outside our room. The Inn is located conveniently within walking distance of the village. The highlight...

The Artisan Inn is as nice as a B&B can be. Clean, located on the waterfront, welcoming, and well-managed with a wonderful continental breakfast (hot breakfast an added option) served in their attached restaurant. Timke, the owner, arrived in Newfoundland from the Netherlands in 1945 and opened the Artisan Inn in the 1990’s. She now owns multiple properties in the...

We were only able to get a room for 1 night in Trinity. We stayed in one of the old homes looking out into the harbour. It was perfect. The check-in and meeting the staff was great. They were so friendly and informative. I only wish that we could have stayed longer.

Our family vacation this year was a road trip tour of the island of Newfoundland. Our second last stop was in Trinity, Trinity Bay. When we booked our stays ahead of time we found the availability limited in some of our stops so we tried not to be too picky. In Trinity, given the size of the town, choices were...

The Artisan Inn is a gem of a little hotel. The staff--from Judy at reception to the lovely people who served in the restaurants and kept house in the rooms--was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. Judy in particular went out of her way to present a really good orientation to the the town and surroundings. Even the kind owner of...

This was a beautiful place to stay -the house and sun terrace are gorgeous, with lots of thoughtful period detail. Trinity is picture perfect, especially in the sunshine! The Skerwine hiking trail nearby is not to be missed. When we arrived, the manager told us about all the local attractions, which was very helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food, expensive-...

This 160+ year-old house located right on Trinity Bay offers comfort, space, and amazing views of the lighthouse and Skerwink from the sundeck, living room and kitchen. My wife and I were fortunate to enjoy the house to ourselves for five wonderful nights as we enjoyed the attractions and ambience of quaint Trinity and the surrounding area. The house is...
