One night is definitely not enough. We stayed 2 nights on two different trips and then 3 nights on our latest visit. There are no check in/out times per se......you go when the boat goes. As I recall they take you to the island around 4 p.m., but you can get there earlier if they are taking out supplies or dropping off people. Leaving the island is at about 930 or 1000 a.m.
