This was a very nice hotel. The complete lack of a view was irrelevant as it also made things very private and quiet. What was not so much fun was the long walk to our room. This is a very sprawling building. We liked the gift shop and spent more than we intended. Food was v

I was pleasantly surprised by such an upgraded room with plush furnishings and a very comfortable bed. It was better than I'd expected, based on the outside appearance of the inn. The negative was the internet as it basically was too frustrating to try and use. As I understand it

As you identified, the internet is a challenge at times for the area in general, and not just our location. Have stayed here before, a large hotel, nice and well maintained. Restaurant has good food and a Greco Pizza. Highly recommend staying here as you pass through on your travels between Labrador and Newfoundland.

Stayed two nights at this uneven "gravel" parking lot across the highway assigned for RV use. Immediately adjacent to the site was a noisy, active construction yard! The workers and their trucks woke us up extremely early in the morning. The site was surrounded with piles of con

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience. We are so very sorry that it was not a pleasant one at the RV area. You are correct in noting that there are construction workers staying adjacent to the site. Although they are gone all day long, they do have an early departure each morning. We apologize for the noise that was made during this time. Our front desk staff should have told you of this arrangement upon your arrival, as the construction workers are there on a temporary basis for this season. As for the privacy issue, we take into account the points you have made and wanted to let you know that we are in the process of both upgrading and beautifying the RV site (this includes addressing the privacy issue there). In terms of the recycling receptacles, we unfortunately are quite limited to the available services in this manner throughout the area. We will be looking at implementing bins, however, to address this need locally. As for the bathroom, there is indeed a heater fan there which should remain plugged in at all times. We apologize if this was not the case upon your arrival, as someone must have unplugged it and not reported it. We will have this addressed as safety is certainly a priority for us. We have been operating the hotel business for more than four decades now, and try our best to offer quality service in all aspects. The RV site was added on in more recent years, in response to the needs of the traveling public. We will be making some changes to the property there, and will be taking your points into consideration as we build on this aspect of our service. Thank you again for your review. Wishing you all the best from Labrador.

Labrador has very few people and in general the internet in hotels in northwestern Newfoundland and Labrador is slow. Our tour director had warned us that we would have no internet in many of the hotels, so it was a treat to find that we had any connectivity at all.
