We spent one night with our eleven years old niece in July 2014. Gordon was very friendly, we had a good breakfast and there was a very comfy common space. We felt like home for a lovely stay! We would definitely come back.

Gordon was a pleasurable host for our one night stayy in Deer Lake on our way North. For 75$ this was our most reasonable nights accommodation. Some areas needed some thorough cleaning but overall we were happy with the comfort of the bed and the size of the breakfast.

This B & B is in a small town near Gros Morne National Park. This is one of the few B &B's which offered a hot breakfast option in Newfoundland. Granted, the only choice is Bacon and Eggs, but cereal, coffee, and toast were also available. Room we quiet and the bed comfortable. Gordon was a pleasant host though his...

Stayed here in April 2014 on my way to Mexico and on my way back. Such wonderful and friendly owners. Bed was comfy and premises were clean and beautifully decorated. Added luxury, he brought me to the airport at 4am, stored my car for free and picked me up at 345 am on my return all included in the overnight...

nice sitting area , but the breakfast was inadequate as for Bacon and eggs go, the room was small with no place to put your suitcases on ,not even the floor had enough area, the bath towels were impossible to dry with, the sink had a very musty odour (i believe the P-Trap ) was missing as for the sheets...

This is a pleasant and attractive B&B with a lovely lounge area. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Gordon picked us up at the airport and dropped us off the following day for our car rental. He even took us to a neighborhood pub where we had dinner and he picked us up later at a prescribed time. Breakfast was...

We stayed in B&B`s all over the island and this was by far the worst. Our bed didn`t even have a mattress cover on it which caused the sheets to slip and slide and make noise as you moved. Old towels in the bathroom and skimpy tub mat for use at the shower. Breakfast was adequate in crowded dining area...

The service was super! Gordon is very accommodating ...service with a smile. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. This is the only place I know where the owner takes you to the airport in his own vehicle and picks you up when you return ... No matter the time.

Proprietor Gordon told me they had hired cleaning staff to assist in the 6 previous years at their B & B but chose not this year. Huge mistake!! Yikes – you can write your name in the dust on the dresser. Don't scare yourself by looking under the very, very creaky bed either. I checked, at least the sheets were...

After a two week Newfoundland holiday in August we stayed our very last night at Bird's Nest B & B as it seemed a convenient location for our departing flight. We had booked 10 days in advance and confirmed our booking a day ahead. Upon arrival, we found a phone in the mailbox and called the number connecting us with...
