We stayed there in March 2017 and found the units to be very clean and comfortable. These kitchen units have everything from dishes down to the dish soap. We found the bed and pillows very comfortable and the sheets very clean as well. The price was very reasonable, close to shopping and restaurants and I would definitely stay there again.

Very accommodating. Clean rooms, comfy bed. Convenience of a Kitchenette for little longer stays. it was close to the hospital so worked out great for my situation. Would stay there again in the future.

Old motel I'm glad was tired I hit the bed and fell asleep needs a upgrade .Very friendly people.I suppose you get what you pay for.Why don't these owners of these properties upgrade there property on a regular basis instead of letting them rundown.

The motel is located in a convenient spot in Carbonear and does have a kitchenette (stove, microwave and fridge) in it- always nice to have when travelling! One side note: there was no hairdryer in the unit. It had more of a cabin or camper feel but that was fine for my needs! It is not a 3, 4 or...

When you read the reviews believe what is written! Unfortunately I did not research this motel. We had booked in for 5 nights and once we arrived were very disappointed, to say the least! it is very run down and on a very busy road with just enough room to get your car off the road to park. Would not...

I arrived at 10 pm and there was no manager on site and no way for me to contact the management since I do not have a cell phone. My room was left unlocked for me with the key inside and a note on the main door advising me of this. The lock on room #2 sticks and I had...

The room is clean for the most part. The kitchen that was provided was dirty and the stove was missing a knob to turn on a burner. Also the fridge had a ring of dirt in the freezer. The toilet had dirt in it i am guessing from being set up for so long. The internet only gave me two...

My friends and I stayed in room 16 (4 of us) and had a wonderful stay! The ladies who ran the motel were so nice and accommodating. The room was perfect with two double beds, a nice kitchen area and nice clean bathroom. It was like staying at an apartment. I would recommend anyone traveling to Harbour Grace or Carbonear...

We stayed 2 nights at Carbonear Motel, in room #4. It is a top-floor room but, because the hotel is really below the road, it turned out to be street-level, and right on road. The room was OK and sufficiently clean (especially for the price), but the kitchenette was quite old and not very practical. We also kept on hitting...

What appealed to us prior to booking here was that it was a housekeeping unit and the ad also stated free Wifi. Unfortunately, the internet signal was inadequate for guests to connect with either laptops or iphones. There was no AC but a fan was provided but when it was turned on the overhead light went out and pretty much...

“Room 16 was great because not only did you have the two rooms, but a common area/kitchen. It was great if you have people over (as we did since we were a group of 8) and hang out instead of being confined to a bedroom.”

“There are a couple of rooms on the top floor that have sea view (I guess they must be the larger, and slightly more expensive, ones), but the other ones are actually right at street level, so noisy and not terribly romantic.”
