The Tickle Inn is more then just a Bed & Breakfast. It's like being warmly welcomed by extended family. It is in a traditionnal NFL home that seems to have been frozen in time. The house has been in the innkeeper's family for generations. It is set on a beautifull piece of oceanfront land that is stunningly beautifull. You can...

Thank you again Dave and Sophie for another wonderful stay. No one does more for their guests to make this a special experience. We were here 12 years ago and have thought often of returning. I am so thankful we could come this year as this is your last. It will always be a special memory - the garden room,...

My husband and I toured Newfoundland in June 2015.Spending our second night at Tickle Inn remains one of our best experiences in Newfoundland. David and Sophie were spectacular as was the food, accommodations and conversation. It was a great place to recharge from 48 hours of travel from the Buffalo, NY area....a beautiful hike on the Cape Onion cliffs, a...

My husband and I fell in love with the Tickle Inn 20 years ago. When we decided to return to Newfoundland we first made sure we could get a reservation in the Tickle Inn before we booked anything else. Luckily, there were 2 nights available. We wondered if the Tickle Inn would live up to our incredible memories of this...

We're happy that you could have one final visit to the Tickle Inn and that we were able to make your experience a positive one. We have so many wonderful memories of our guests to look back on after our retirement from the business at the end of this season. Thank you for your well wishes.

The Tickle Inn is closing after 25 years as a B & B and after scores of rave reviews from its guests. David and Barbara have provided hospitality for hundreds of travelers far out on the windy northern tip of New Foundland at Cape Onion, serving elegant meals and providing a serene haven far from the bustle many of us...

In July 2015 my family stayed in the loft for two nights at the Tickle Inn. Even though the loft is a converted attic with low ceilings, it was actually quite comfortable! All three of us slept well. Breakfasts had more variety than anticipated and they even went out of their way to provide almond milk for me, since I...

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The attention to detail and looking after their guests is second to none. The old home, with so many interesting items on display that have been passed down through David's family, held so many stories- almost a museum of sorts in itself. After our 3 course dinner, which was superb, David regaled...

Visited 11 years ago, and then again this month. Wonderful reception from Sophie, incredible homemade meals - better than 5 star, views are outer worldly. So glad we visited this year as the family is closing the B&B after this season. Pure bliss this place!

The tickle inn is the most northerly B&B in newfoundland and also the finest. Not only the view is one you will never forget but the hosts are the most loveliest people i have ever seen. The coffee and cookies were ready when we came in and at 6 o'clock we had a little nibble. Half past 7 the dinner...

A place and stay we will long remember. A unique home with tons of character. It is very sad that this is their last season but we are so happy we got to stay there before they close at end of season. We did not get to meet the owners but Sophie, who has been there since they opened 25...
