So, when we were planning our holiday to Canada we wanted to go bear and whale watching. We looked at the information about Telegraph Cove and the reviews of the accommodation at the Resort. Knowing all that, we arrived at the Cove after a long drive from Vancouver. What we found was a stunningly beautiful cove containing a number of...

The Telegraph Cove resort is a 'odd' collection of houses and cabins that'll provide you with a good choice of accommodations. We decided to stay here the night before and after our Grizzly Bear-tour and stay in #6 (Sharpe House). These are not ultra-modern houses, but historic ones, each with a story to tell! That also means no wifi and...

Not for city lovers but if you're into the outdoors and/or wildlife you will love this place! Cute and very comfortable cabins right on the boardwalk, overlooking the water. We had bald eagles sitting on posts right in front of our window, otters running by, kingfishers and hummingbirds zooming around- and that was without going anywhere! Very friendly owners and...

A group of my hiking group stayed here in May for two nights. Was a great time to go, as the season was just opening and the bustle of opening and cleaning cabins was going on, and hardly anyone there yet, so it was quiet. We had a great hike and then had a beautiful dinner cooked for us by...

We love Telegraph Cove. After visiting the campsite a few years prior, we insisted we needed to stay in the cabins on our next trip to Canada. We booked in the Bunk House and Cabin 12 on either side of our Kayaking trip (with North Island Kayak - 5*). Both stays were warm, clean and comfortable. We didn't want for...

Telegraph cove is a historic village set on a boardwalk around the harbour. There are different rooms and houses available to stay in as part of the resort. We stayed at the Wastell Manor, which is a house at the end of the boardwalk, slightly up the hill and right by the Whale museum. The Wastell Manor is a house...

I stayed here for 1 night on a road trip up North Vancouver Island. Love this little village. It's a small harbor about 20 mins drive from Port McNeil, and the resort is actually various rooms or cabins in the area including the historic houses on the boardwalk. I stayed in one of the rooms right on the dock. Big...
