Up-island (as they say), a former fish canning community in a secluded inlet is now a low-key resort, with the old buildings used as accommodation. It's basic, no frills stuff, but rustic and, if you like that sort of thing, fantasticly atmospheric. You carry your bags along the wooden boardwalk built out over the inlet to your room. If you...

Stayed one night before early departure on 3 day kayak trip. We wanted to be close to Telegraph Cove to ensure no snags to foul up our plans. The room was definitely pricey at $180 a night, but nothing is reasonable in that neck of the woods as they have a very short season and a captive market. Nearby Port...

Tourists don't have much choice in this isolated area so you have to pay up if you want to stay to enjoy the whale or grizzly tours, fishing or scenery. Telegraph Cove resort charges hefty rates but they don't seem to want to please their guests like other resorts do. You have to pay extra for wifi and our cabin...

We stayed in Cabin 12 for our one night stay in Telegraph cove. sitting on the boardwalk overlooking the harbour. The cabins are quirky, the two single beds was a little surprise but not a problem. I've had comfier beds but as we had to be up for 5:30am the next day to go on a grizzly bear watching trip...

My husband, along with our dog & I were lucky enough to get room #14 here for one night and enjoyed our stay very much, even in the pouring rain! The resort is a group of old, historic buildings all updated and restored on & around the boardwalk in picturesque Telegraph Cove. The scenery outside your windows is spectacular and...

During our stay at Telegraph Cove we stayed in one of the old cottages. From the outside it looks like museum houses, with their signs explaining the history of the cottages. On the inside you'll find all modern amenities with private bathrooms kitchen etc. and a spectacular view to the harbor and the Strait.

We stayed in cabin 14 during our stay in TC , kayaking and bear watching. The location of cabin 14 is perfect, you can see the whole harbour from the window and were able to see mink, two otters, bald eagles right outside. The noise is not a problem either despite being right on the boardwalk. It gets quiet after...

We had specifically booked a group of 7 with 5 tents into 2 sites. We were assigned very small, buggy sites. Luckily there just one night. At 0500 were were almost run over by fishermen leaving for the day! Not sure why people would stay here. The camp hosts however are pleasant and do a great job.
