We have camped at this resort for many years, and have always enjoyed Rick and Jeanie as being competent and helpful. The location of this camping resort is close to crabbing, fishing, wale watching, kayaking, and more with awesome views of cruise ships passing directly in front. We would have liked to seen more maintenance and upkeep but this resort simply continued to look...

Thank you for your review. We apologize for not meeting your expectations! We purchased Alder Bay Resort in July 2016, and needless to say it was an extremely busy time. Although we had a student working with us, who was power washing the boat ramp every two weeks it was not enough. Now that things here are quieter we are...

This friendly campground and RV site is all about fishing and with good reason. The fishing shop has what you need and the locals have good advice to follow. There is an ocean view from many sites and the rates are competitive. Site hookups are aging but everything worked. Dock space can be reserved along with your campsite. Sites are...

I stayed here late August 2016 with my boyfriend after we spent the afternoon at Telegraph Cove. We had a waterfront tent site, which was on a hill above the Ocean. We were excited to camp here because of the seclusion and views, but noticed as we pulled up to the site our lack of privacy. There are trees surrounding...

We stopped in to Alder Bay rv after leaving another park because of an unacceptable odor problem. We had our choice of many locations as the busy season was beginning to wind down. We selected a beautiful site over looking the bay and was perfect for watching sunsets, cruise ships, eagles and a passing school of porpoises The staff were...

We stayed at this campground for two days, Although the weather was not great, the view is beautiful and the misty weather created a special atmosphere with campfires everywhere. Showers are not free. Great place for fishing or whale whatching

We arrived quite late in the evening and when the office was closed already. However, the owner came down in no time being very nice and welcoming. Since the office hours were officially over already, she just told us to choose whichever available site we wanted and come up again the next morning to do the paper work. We had...

The facilities here have been neglected, washrooms need updating. Campsites also need some maintenance, but great location and view. If you have a boat, good location to launch. Close to Telegraph Cove and Port McNeill.

We enjoy the fishing, crabbing, scenery and good plain old fashioned camping at this resort!! We have stayed here twice in 2015 and are returning again in July of 2016. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors away from the crowds!
