The staff were very pleasant and accommodatingly helpful. Parking lot is duty gravel. Room was clean but door was warped enough to not fit the jam. Somdirt comes in. There was an exposed electrical fire detector on the ceiling. ...food was a once in a lifetime thing....never again in my lifetime!

but our room was small, in fact it was tiny. Nice clean bathroom and good off street parking. There's a very nice bright restaurant attached and they do serve a very nice breakfast. Small selection of gifts available. For evening dining, you can dine in or there are other options along with a pub within an easy 10 minute walk...

Based on the photos we thought this place would be " a cut above". Checked in in quite a nice area of the " lodge" , drove around the back and shocked to see the junky , dusty, gravelled parking lot in which our room stood. Owners had placed flower pots around but it needs much more to make it...

Read the reviews and thought we would give this motel a try. When we arrived in Cache Creek at 7:20pm, we were very surprised to discover that the restaurant had already closed for the evening. We were doubly surprised to find out that it did not open for breakfast either. Our room was quaint - no coffeemaker, no microwave, no...

The little rooms are fantastically adorable and cozy! We were travelling and wanted a room that was comfortable, and that's exactly what we got. Driving by we always wondered if the inside of the rooms were like log cabins like the outside. They are! We also liked that we could park the car right outside the window, perfect for weary...

Shared with my girlfriend for a night. Fairly cheap room, a standard queen bed one, everything was clean (at least to my standards). T.V. and mini fridge worked great. The heater/A.C. not so much but the weather was fine so we didn't really need it. The restaurant has a great breakfast. You can park right in front of your room...

This was a fun place to stay. Our bedroom had a queen bed and a spa/jacuzzi bath! There was also a fully fitted en suite bathroom. I could lie in the bath and watch tv at the same time, something I have always wanted to do!

Very friendly staff. Room was adequate. Had to take jacuzzi room as hotel was booked. This makes the room very small as the tub takes up a lot of space. Watching tv could only be done from the bed. The TV reception was rather poor. The room and bedding was clean. The bed was a little saggy. Did not eat...

Loved the rustic atmosphere and friendly staff but ..... We stopped for lunch heading north and decided to stay there on our return southbound.a couple of days later. Our room #6 was really small, so small that there was no room for a mini-fridge, microwave or in-room coffee service. There are two double beds in this room, each pushed up...

Have stayed at the Bear's Claw in the past. This recent visit resulted in discovering the duvet covers had not been laundered. There was visible, dried food or . . . on the bedding. Night manager was very helpful and supplied fresh linen, but when removing the cover, we discovered disturbing yellow stains on the duvet itself. We have lost...
