We paid for just visiting the hot springs themselves as we were camping at kokanee Creek provincial park. The staff were very friendly, and the location was exceptionally clean. Nice big change rooms, and the pool was amazing. The caves were very neat and my four year old loved it. Would definitely visit again.

I would recommend staying at the hotel when you visit if you can. In the morning, hotel guests get to enjoy the hot springs all to themselves for a couple of hours before it opens. You get nice big comfy robes to wear around, and the rooms are gorgeous. The beds very comfortable, and the service is excellent. We had...

this is for the Hot Springs only, we did not stay in the hotel or visit the restaurant. Overall, nice place. Large warm pool, small hot pool and caves you can walk through and/or sit for a while (hot). Newly renovated, lights in the caves. ~ When reclining in one of the little bays in the caves, my foot got...

Thanks for your visit and sorry you weren't 100% satisfied. I'll respond here: -Our rates are virtually identical to all BC Hot Springs but we have the most unique feature; our caves. We are also the most visited Hot Springs in BC and the most highly rated. -There are no electrical cables in the caves. You must have stepped on...

Was very nice clean ,restaurant food very good. Hot springs pool and surrounding area clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful and our lakeview was spectacular with mountains and the lake view. Definitely worth a trip back especially in the off season it wasn't overly crowded

This is just the best hot springs. The view is spectacular and the caves are really cool. We also had lunch at the restaurant and were impressed with the quality. They are currently renovating -- it will be interesting to see what changes will be made.

Stayed one night at the resort to take in the hot springs and we were not disappointed! Our third floor room had a spectacular view of Kootenay Lake and the mountains, and was worthy of a 5 star rating. There appears to be several renovation projects under construction; the new owners are doing some good things. We loved the hot...

Situated on the western shore of Kootenay Lake and fifteen minutes north of the ferry terminal at Balfour, the Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort offers clean, modern, and updated rooms, with unlimited visits to the attached hot springs for hotel guests. The hot springs are quite amazing with an outdoor pool and connecting hot spring caves.

We had a wonderful at Ainsworth Hotsprings April 19, 2016. There weren't many people there at the time we arrived.(2pm) By the time we left there were about 20 people including about 6 children. The pool was wonderful at 98 degrees. From there you can go inside the caves where the water temp. is 105. You can really sweat in...
