Mountain Trek is a good option for certain types of people: people who do well in highly structured in environments, and people who are willing to absorb an entire doctrine of what it means to be healthy without asking too many questions or second-guessing what you're being told. But if you're someone who prefers to be in control of choices,...

Thank you so much for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed the lodge, food, staff and individual catering. We tried getting in touch before you arrived to discuss expectations about the program but unfortunately were unsuccessful. We wish you all the best in your future adventures in health!

I went to Mountain Trek not expecting a lot. I'm a reasonably active guy who eats half decently and doesn't have a high-stress job. Wow. Was I wrong! After one week I had gained muscle, decreased my body fat %, and was sleeping better than I ever have. The trails we hiked were breath-taking and lounging in the spa in...

Your visit is not optional if you want an optimal life. Get grounded, reset, recharged and reconnected from a solid foundation. You are looking at MountainTrek because some area of your life is weak. Body, mind and spirit leave functioning at a higher capacity than you might ever expect possible. I returned home strong, healthy and "alive" again. Something is...

Did the Mountain Trek experience a couple of years ago about this same time. It is an experience like no other. If you lead a stressful life, this is a great program for distressing. My fitness level was already high but they challenged me every day. I met some fantastic people from all over the country! The food was fantastic...

The best decision I have ever made was to go to Mountain Trek. The food was delicious and I was never hungry. My classes were Informal and very informative. We actually were encouraged to soak our feet during the afternoon classes after hiking each day. Heavenly. But the best of all were the staff..the guides, the chefs, lodge staff -...

Have you ever wished that an expert team could whisk you away and transform your body, mind and spirit? Well, that is what Mountain Trek does in a week. I just returned from a week with them at Rancho La Puerta in Mexico and it was beyond my very high expectations. I considered going to just a spa or a...

I spent two weeks at Mountain Trek and was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned and how much it improved my fitness. I was a bit worried that it would be a kind of retreat where they give you bland food and an overly preachy attitude but I was wrong. The food was rather good and tastefully presented and...

Hmmm. Where to start. At the beginning with small steps. (Learned this at MT.) I am TYPE A+. I drive myself HARD. Wanted to go there to lose weight and regain fitness (did both of these) but it was SO. MUCH. MORE. They helped me changed my state of mind which is where it all starts. Practical and sustainable. I...

I returned from Mountain Trek yesterday and couldn't wait to share my experience. I came home leaner and stronger, from the daily hikes in the breathtaking Kootney Mountains, but perhaps more importantly I came home with a very specific, sustainable plan to achieve lifelong health and fitness. They cover everything from nutrition to sleep to stress management. The staff are...
