Reception service very helpful and polite. I asked for a taxi reservation and parking, all done with care and attention. Four cars can be parked in front. Rooms modest but clean. Air condition. Three wuiet rooms 23-25 in back building. Breakfast has potential for improvement,

We have been here in the middle of August 2018 and what we can say is that it was amazing! Beginning with the reception we had, we went into our room and it was so quiet and nice, very palace-like. Everything functioned well, no trouble whatsoever. The food was also

We had Hotel Relais Alcova del Doge arrange for a car to pick us up from airport. This was due to the long flight from USA and we didn't want to mess with bus system. I think it was 50 Euro. However, they are right on the bus system and only require 1 change to get to them from airport. The change takes place in Venice. If you email the hotel directly they will have great information on how to use bus system to get to them. They speak excellent English. They are some of the nicest people. Regards, Doug

"At the back"
"Courtyard rooms may be a little quieter than in the main building but the period style of the main building makes up for passing traffic."
"Room 13 is closer to road but bigger. With windows closed its great. Also, it is first floor. Room 22 is in back, has stairway up built into one wall. However, it is first floor. Smaller of the two rooms."
"how to get to Venice - use Fusina terminal, park car there and go by vaporetto to Zattere, from there u can go also to the seaside - beach, nice too Visit Padova too, it is about 20 km and this city is amazing too!"
"A room at the back of the hotel might be quieter as we stayed at one of the room right at the front of the hotel."
