We visited for 2 weeks in August. We are a family of 3 with a teenager and we're travelling with two other families. We had a 1 bed apartment in block C, the other families had a 2 bed apartment in block A and a 1 bed apartment in block B. The 1 bed apartments whilst bring clean and in reasonable order was very small and difficult for us in block C to cope for the two weeks. Our apartment was bigger than tbe one in block b, that one was so small the family could not even unpack.

Overall the rooms were in clean condition and good order. The cleaners were lovely and very conscientious, the other staff were polite and accommodating. We were very disappointed to have only one mirror in the apartment which was in the bathroom and no dresser or place to do hair and makeup, this was very inconsistent throughout the apartments, the one in block A had 7 mirrors and the one in block B had 5! We asked at reception for another mirror and were told the owners said there was one but it must have been taken! There was no hooks or nails where a mirror could have been anywhere! We also had no plugs for the sinks to wash up or anything, we had to ask and after being told they had none, reception did then find one and issue it to us.

We had originally booked our holiday in 2020 and was postponed to this year, when we booked it was all self catering, when we got to the apartments we found out people can now only book all inclusive, thus caused issues for the self catering guests who struggled to hey served for drinks and had indoor areas for drinks taken away as if they were not allowed to use them. It didn't feel very welcoming in that sense.

On our first day we were round the pool and found that one of the steps on a ladder was broken and could cause injury, we reported it to reception and it was fixed within an hour of being reported which was fantastic! We were on the 5th floor of block C and about and week into the holiday the lift broken when my daughter tried to go back to the room from the pool, I am disabled and use a walking aid so was dependent on the lift, we reported this and again it was fixed within an hour. We could not fault the work ethic and dedication of the staff for resolving issues and faults on that respect.

Overall we all had a fantastic holiday and really enjoyed Bulgaria.

We wouldn't return to Rose Village due to the new all inclusive requirement, the food and drink is not worth the cost and the times are not all inclusive as the bar is only open until 9pm and there is no entertainment and limited food options. The apartments are fine for self catering holidays but woukd recommend a 2 bed apartment for families of any size.

We don’t often do reviews but thought we needed to with the Rose Village in the Nessebar area of Sunny Beach. We booked the Rose Village mainly on price, the fact it was all inclusive (a must with kids), and that the majority of the reviews were on the positive side. After booking we started to notice a few negative comments which worried us a little before arriving, we needn’t have worried. The Rose Village isn’t a wow hotel, it’s an ‘is what it is’ place. It is however clean, the staff are great (never came across any who were rude), the food was of a good standard and a good choice, the inclusive drinks weren’t branded but were drinkable (and no small measures).
A number of people whinged about the food every meal time, all British unfortunately. Yes, there were chips and spaghetti every lunch and evening meal, but this was only a small part of a decent selection, and it was the whinging families kids that filled their plates with chips, with tomato sauce anyway. In addition to the chips and spaghetti there was always another potato or rice side, and there was always four/five other dishes in the hot area, two or three of a Bulgarian nature, and one or two like burger or nuggets. There was always a good choice of salads, cheeses and fruits, and also little cakes, pastries and ice creams. Breakfast was decent too, always hot choice of bacon, beans, scrambled egg, plus different sausages, pastry and pancakes. Variety of bread for the self-toaster and fruit, plus honey and choc spreads. We had no complaints but we did keep away from chicken just in case and stuck to pork and veal.
We think the complainers who thought that buying in a pizza every night over the all-inclusive should probably stick to Blackpool!
The AI drink selection consisted of beer, all wines, vodka, white and red rum plus a couple of Bulgarian drinks that could also be mixed to make other drinks. All soft drinks and coffee to. Yes, this did stop at 9.30pm.
We had ‘penthouse’ twin bedroom apartment which was top floor (ovs) and had plenty of space, kitchen with fridge and a tv, aircon in each bedroom, wifi and iron. It wasn’t flash, but it was functional and cleaned at least every other day. The second bedroom could have benefited from a wardrobe. Pool area was cleaned and tidied every morning, some of the pool mosaic tiles were missing, and strangely no grout below the waterline, but nothing that would show up negatively when posting your photos online.
Oh, and yes, seagulls do wake you up early in the morning. Sunny Beach needs to have a seagull cull.
To sum up, its a good hotel for the price. If you want bigger AI selection pay a little more and go to Antalya. We couldn't complain for what we paid and great to fly from Teesside Airport.

We had a fabulous time, we spent 2weeks at the resort which we knew, who's bar ended at 9.30pm and had no entertainment from the booking. Our room 22c was cleaned every day, towel change was a bit disappointing but the staff happily sorted out any issues we had. Food was 3* not 5* but we ate every day and enjoyed what we ate. The staff were helpful and polite especially when they were spoken to properly. All in all we had a fabulous 2weeks away with our granddaughter. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 3* holiday.

Awful for all inclusive 😕 food was disgusting either under cooked or over cooked with only 8 dishes for the whole hotel! Many people complaining. Mould on bread or stale
There is bar Vicki attached to the hotel yet you have to pay for drinks triple the price anywhere else, there is also a snack bar attached which sell pizza/burgers ect these you have to pay for even if your all inclusive. The snacks they offer is a biscuit that's it. You can only get ice cream at certain times and drinks cut off at half 9 even though every other all inclusive is 11. Not much variety for drinks either beer is waterd down if u want coke/sprite/ Fanta you need to pay. Arrived early morning with children couldn't even get a bottle of water as shops shut at 3am lifts didn't work neither did lights had to use are fone as a torch. Nothing for children apart from a pool that tiles were hanging off and so were the ladders also pool was not cleaned once in the 2 weeks we were there. Had to ask for towels and pillows 5 days later we got them. The hotel is brilliant location and would be brilliant for self catering very budget holiday
Staff also very rude there is no pool bar it's the main restaurant just the other side which is tiny and you wait 10 minutes to be served!
Had to miss out on extra trips as we didn't expect to eat out 3 times a day!

Poor quality hotel. Eating a big downside. Cold and little choice. Water-diluted drinks. The cutlery looked unwashed. Bathroom sink and shower tray clogged. Fortunately, after reporting, a hotel staff member came right away and fixed the problem. There are only a few small soaps in the bathroom, so you need to have your own gels and shampoos to take a bath. Rooms fine, fully equipped kitchenette and even an iron and ironing board. Cleaning every 4 days. Cold water in the pool. We will not go back there anymore.

We’re heading home tomorrow and literally cannot wait. This place has been hell from day 1. The food is disgusting, we were served raw chicken on more than 1 occasion! We’ve eaten out most days and spent most of our spending money ensuring the children aren’t hungry. We wanted to do some excursions but we haven’t even seen the holiday rep whilst we’ve been here (not that we’ve got any money left now to book any) The staff are rude, telling my 2 sons (6&8) that these people were really pissing them off. There’s no regard for health and safety, the pools are dirty and we witnessed several people come off the street to have a wash in the pool at the front of the building.
Emailed Tui and they’re clearly not interested as I’m still waiting for a reply.
Everything closes at 9pm, no entertainment at all, you’re made to feel like an inconvenience when going to the bar for a drink.
Absolutely ruined our first family holiday that we’ve saved all year to come on

The bar was shight, no selection unless you are a beer/spirit drinker, food is absolutely horrendous, chips and spaghetti every single day?! The only saving grace was the staff were friendly to a degree. I spent 2 weeks learning how to say thankyou and the 1 time I tried I got laughed at! The surrounding area is dire, noone is friendly and when we asked to have our room for half a day before we left we were told that they had already given it away? We were given a new room for the last day of our stay but still we had only asked 2 days prior. Everyone we had spoken to has said the place went down when it went all inclusive only a year ago! It's ages away from the ACTUAL sunny beach.

Very Very disappointed in the food and the accommodation. This was sold as all inclusive. The quality and variation of the food, not to mentioned the presentation WAS not of acceptable standard. The staff had no knowledge of dietary requirements. ( I have celiac and need a Gluten Free Diet). The bar left a lot to be desired closing at 21.30hrs every night. The room still had the kitchen units in and what can only be described as the largest fridge ever! The bathroom had no facilities what so ever to store even my toothbrush never mind any one else. At no time was our room cleaned and frequently had to go chasing for certain items or have the bins emptied. The staff had little or no idea, Guidance never mind training is needed ASP. Customer service was none existence. We merely used it as base to continue our holiday. Which did not disappoint and no problems with my Gluten Free diet.

Food = terrible would rather go spend a week at a prison and eat from there. Very limited choice, cold food and raw spent majority of my money eating out even though we PAID for all inclusive. The chef needs a serious word !

Read all these reviews as we arrived fearing the worst. Reality is that our family of 17 had a perfectly lovely stay.

The food is fine. It’s not world class but with plenty of hot chips, veg, salad and a selection of fish and meats - there is always something to satisfy everyone. Note: the fish and meats can be hit and miss but there’s definitely variety from day to day. Great amount of ice cream for kids.

The whole hotel is incredibly clean and the staff are friendly. I’ve seen lots of reviews on here saying otherwise but if you treat them nicely, they return the favour.

Beers, wines and spirits all available as part of the all inclusive (I recommend the red rum!)

It’s a short walk from the beach too.

We had room A44. Was a lovely apartment, but the balcony was long but very narrow, difficult to get more than 4 people on at once. And it had a pool view so was quiet on a night and early morning.

In defence of the Aparthotel, there is a language barrier the manageress (who I think would be the one to respond) does not speak a lot of English. Also, its a different culture, often Bulgarians are not very forthcoming with their opinions and responses to what we in the West would consider to be normal customer service. It doesnt mean they dont care what is written, just that it is not regular practice in Eastern Europe to respond.

Is there safety deposit boxes in your rooms ?
Answer from jenxy1

Not in the rooms, there are safety deposit boxes in reception, which is "manned" 24 hours in the season. There is also 24hour security at the barrier. Rose Village is very safe.
