I have been back a week now, after booking a very cheap all inclusive holiday within 3 days of departure. We checked out the reviews below. We actually were terrified but it was too late. However, we arrived at the Hotel at midnight to be greeted by a very helpful receptionist who gave us keys and food for evening. The...

I was very wary about going to this hotel after booking because of the bad reviews. But all the staff were really polite and very happy to help, very little English but there was always someone around to translate. The room was very clean and just what I needed, and was cleaned, bed made and fresh towels everyday. The facilities...

Mam Dad ( 50ish ) Daughter (18) We have stayed in Albena previously and enjoyed the location. On this occasion we decided to try a different hotel same location. BIG MISTAKE. On arrival, Reception staff need a personality transplant, non welcoming to keep it polite. Room, ok but dated could do with a re-vamp ( not a botched touch up...

We were dreading our stay here after reading the reviews, food wasn't great, rooms were reasonable, beds not made up every day but towels were changed, tip expectations irritating on arrival. The Animation team were fantastic and made our stay fun. Location pretty good, close to amenities and beach. Facilities also offered at beach.

We stayed there last week. The hotel is old and not very well maintained. The food was just OK. The main issue was that the staff at the reception desk were not even smilling, the people at the restaurant were not friendly at all!? Where is the hospitality in this hotel. The only Great staff were ALL the animators !...

I don't really know where to start, but here goes. Our room was clean, but the balcony very small and overlooking dense trees that were just about on top of you, you certainly wouldn't sit on the balcony, and in any case one of the two plastic chairs were broken.Inside the Television was circa 1973 and the tube was going so...

When seeing previous negative reviews on this hotel we were hesitant to book however because of the price being so cheap for an all inclusive holiday we decided to go for it! We were glad we took the risk as we had a very enjoyable time with Balkan holidays. When first arriving at the hotel early morning we were greeted...

When we initially booked to holiday we was a bit worried after reading these reviews but found it to be great mostly. The food is buffet style and a good variety of food was avaliable such as fresh pasta, chicken, rice pork etc almost anything you would want and there was always enough knives and forks. The staff were mostly...

The only good thing I can say is the rooms we had were nice, smelly but nice with no fridges so if wanted a drink during night had to make do with a warm water. The pool was also good but didn't have a shallow end for the non swimmer like myself, other than that i'm afraid nothing. Meal times were...

My friend and I have just returned from a week's holiday at this hotel and I am trying to write a balanced review of the experience. Balkan arranged the holiday and we had not realised that we would have such a long journey from the airport ( plane arrived 2am local time and we arrived at 6-30am after a long...

“If you want to walk to the beach from the hotel with a buggy, wheelchair or you have poor mobility, it would be impossible. There are around 200 steps down a long hill. For those fit and able however, this is a lovely walk. There is a little train or a shuttle bus to take you down, so all is not lost if you struggle with mobility”
