Looking at the clip in the "extras" folder from the homepage - it`s really incredible how nice the former ruin got restored. Traveling so far, we really enjoyed the time at this beautiful pearl in the heart of the old stone town from Ibo. We finally stayed over a week there and enjoyed every single day. It`s a perfect place...

The staff is really nice, always with a smile, and the accommodations are really nice. From our bedroom we could see the Ocean, what to ask more? See you soon......

The Miti Miwiri boutique hotel on Ibo Island is simply a magic place. The island itself is a magic place. And, if you want to fully enjoy the ancient and lost colonial atmosphere which the island exudes, you should choose to stay in an old colonial house like the Miti Miwiri. The structure is indeed a beautifully restored colonial house,...

Very friendly and accomodating owner. A relaxed place, well attended by helpful staff. Great experience! The rooms needs a bit of a touch up. The food could be improved a little in terms of diversity but overall a great place to stay on Ibo. Will definetily visit again!!!

The stunning 400yr old building as been beautifully renovated to cater for traveller wants and need whilst still retaining all of the history and charm that is Ibo island. Friendly staff will make you feel as if you are in a home away from home along with the well stocked bar. The relaxing courtyard and pool are the ideal place...

Our group chosen Miti Mwiri to spend 5 days during our trip to Quirimbas and it was the right decision. Jorg helped us before, during and after our stay there becoming our travel's partner in the area. Rooms are amazing and food is delicious. Thanks you Jorg, we will be back.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Jorg the owner. We only arrived late but he made sure the kitchen stayed open and a cool drink in our hands, it was a great way to start our stay. Each day we were free to explore the island and were given plenty of options for activities. Jorge and his...

Ibo is strikingly beautiful and different from the usual islands around Europe. At Miti Miwiri you can feel the atmosphere of Ibo, it is cosy and has a nice garden where you can have food, drinks and meet new people. The rooms are beautiful, clean and big (at least, ours was). There is no hot water, but it was warm...

DEFINITELY STAY AT MITI MIWIRI!! While there are a handful of other mid-range hotels on Ibo, this is the one with the best atmosphere, the most helpful staff (Jorg will Hook You Up!), and the greatest community connection. What it lacks in waterfront (it's set just across the street from the water) it makes up for in day trips and...

Miti Miwiri which in the local language, means "Two Trees", is located at the heart of the old town. Surrounded by nature and mango trees, impregnated of an imperial atmosphere that reminds the old Portuguese colonial rule, is the perfect place to begin your African experience and to explore the Quirimbas Archipelago; embracing its virgin islands, its turquoise waters, its golden beaches and a Mwani culture still proudly preserved. Our lodge is located on the beautiful Ibo Island, the most famous amongst the thirty coral islands that make up the untouched and wild Quirimbas Arquipelago.Ibo Island, Quirimbas capital for centuries, considered culturally and historically one of the jewels of Mozambique, known as the little sister of “Mozambique Island” because of their architectural similarities, is located in the central area of the islands, or in the heart of the archipelago, just 45 minutes by boat from the mainland. ... more   less
