Perfect for people with a dog. Outside entrance and nice neighborhood to walk the dog. Room was very clean and comfortable. Plus the price was very reasonable, especially for the oil booming North Dakota which seems to over charge for all their rooms due to transient workers needing places to stay. This was the cheapest and cleanest hotel we found...

Stayed at the Econo one night and booked the room knowing I would not be there except for sleeping and this is the only reason to stay. The motel is very basic and small. The lower rooms have doors that face the outside, so if recommend the top floor if you prefer a little more privacy. Ok place to stay...

We stayed here after being stuck without a place to live after our recent move to Grand Forks. We had previously been at the Super 8 next door but switched to the Econo Lodge because they had cheaper rates for the weekend. The front desk staff was friendly during our stay. The room was a good size, more spacious than...

This place is gross! A throwback to the 70's and the bed spreads looked like they had seen better days. The beds were old and rickety, very old and clearly the matresses have never been replaced in over 30 years. All three of the chairs in our room were torn and covered in stains-disgusting! The carpet in our suite was...

We stayed at a few Econo Lodges on this vacation and the chain has improved noticeably over the last few years. Check in was fast and friendly, the rate was good, and the hotel looked fine from the outside; it's among offices and residential buildings not far from the University campus. The back door was blocked open by a rock,...

This was an inexpensive room, but it was very clean, which is so important. Our room had two queen beds, and we always travel with a fan, so outside noise was not an issue. Shower worked fine, continental breakfast was basic, but decent. Microwave, mini-fridge, blowdryer, ironing board and iron, free wi-fi, HBO. Everything worked, and I felt it was...

Your basic motel with the benefits of good pricing, microwave and mini fridge, and free wifi and the downside of paper thin walls and doors. Kids were running around yelling well into the night and it made for great difficulty in getting to sleep. One might ask where the heck the parents were but that discussion is for another forum....

This is a basic chain hotel. The rate paid was very good. The room was clean and efficient. We had a one room suite with the second bed separated by a privacy wall which worked very well with my 17 year old. It was worth the modest additional amount it cost. There was a nice LCD TV angles to be...

What should have been a nice visit to a clean, modern chain establishment was scarred. There was a power problem which made coffee scarce or unavailable at breakfast. There was some kind of phone problem which made it impossible to call 800-numbers except by borrowing a front desk cordless for a moment, which was awkward at best. There is no...

For a light sleeper, it's bad. I eventually took a sleeping pill. The man next door was having a phone conversation & I could hear every word he said. So don't tell secrets. I thought the upstairs neighbors had horses up there. Some parts of tub had mildew growing, not good. I was in governors suite ( only costs a...
