The hotel building is quite big for such a remote Siberian town, and the hardware is quite ok. However, the service is bad, even for Russian standards. During my second stay in Mirny, the Zarnitsa was fully booked, so I went to the guest house right across the street, which was actually much more friendly and much less costly.

The Zarnitsa is an average hotel right in the city center of Mirny, probably the best hotel in Mirny. At the reception they can speak a bit english, the rest of the staff cannot speak any english. the rooms are small and somewhat outdated but they are clean. There is no wifi in the hotel available and the breakfast is...

Well, Mirny is a city that is based around the diamond mine. If you find yourself at this hotel, you are probably the for business. Nothing special here - medium rooms, relatively clean, nothing to do in the hotel. Restaurant was very disappointing, although outside was similar.

Ongoing oilfield operations in Eastern Siberia led me to the town of Mirny where I spent a couple of days particularly in Zarnitsa hotel. The location of the hotel is in the town centre, close to city administration, cinema and concern hall, some shops etc. The town is not big anyways, so it is probably about 3-4 km drive from...
