We had one of the loveliest travel experiences on our overnight stay at the Taylor House Inn. Our host, Scott, could not have been more helpful when we arrived, trying to make sure we had all the info on what we might like to do in the area. There were suggestions for dinner and museums. Our room was lovely -...

Oh, my! I find it hilarious, after staying at the Taylor House Inn for two nights with my best friend that some of these negative (old) reviews speak of the innkeeper as insolent, cold, inhospitable! Nothing could have been further from the truth. Scott and Karen were friendly, relaxed, helpful and very polite. Our room was wonderful and the couple...

My Boyfriend surprised me with a Birthday weekend at Taylor House Inn. I had never stayed at a B&B I always thought it wouldn't be very private with someone always looking over your shoulder. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!! On arrival Scott was a delight asking questions on our knowledge of the city and what we wanted to accomplish while...

My husband and I spent Labor Day Weekend at this fabulous B&B. The house itself is charming and the host Scott even more so. The delicious breakfasts shared with other guests over the candle lit dining table were a nice social start to the day in Wilmington, a town which has many attractions to visit. We will certainly return.

Although the Taylor House Inn itself is a house to admire, the primary innkeeper, Scott, is not. Also, you never saw his wife. Do not expect to have any dietary needs that veer from Scott's repertoire accomodated. If you are not into whatever he is making for breakfast that morning, you are on your own. The pros here are: the...

I feel really badly that this woman had such a disappointing experience here at The Taylor House Inn Bed and Breakfast. Had she said something to me or my wife during her stay, then things could have been corrected. Having been in the business for sixteen years and having gotten several certificates of Excellence from Tripadvisor and countless rave reveiws...

Scott made us remember why we love staying at B&B's! We chose a suite because our 15 year old daughter stayed with us and it was so roomy and welcoming. She looked like a princess in her four poster bed next to the fireplace!! What a beautiful and very comfortable house within walking distance to downtown Wilmington. I loved the...

We had a wonderful time here! Scott is a charming host, chef and bon vivant! We stayed for two nights in the large "Joy" room with an oh- so-comfortable king-size bed. Felt like we were staying with friends. Breakfasts were delicious & table settings were lovely. We followed Scott's advice to several wonderful dining experiences in the area and spent...

I have been staying in B&B's for years and have returned to Taylor House on many occasions while visiting Wilmington. The innkeeper, Scott, is a wonderful host who has interesting stories when he has a chance to sit and chat. The breakfasts are always delicious. The rooms and beds are extremely comfortable. The location is an easy walk to the...

I love this inn! the prices are very reasonable and it is very charming and immaculately clean! The bedroom was very beautifully decorated and comfortable with really sweet touches everywhere. The street is very quiet and yet downtown and close to everything. The breakfast was French toast (on French bread) with cranberry maple syrup....first course was perfectly cut grapefruit and...
