My boyfriend and I stayed at the Taylor House Inn this Valentines weekend of 2017 and enjoyed our experience immensely! The house has a wonderful charm to it and the details did not go unnoticed by the both of us. When we entered the house, classical music was playing in the background which added to the experience of being in...

My wife and I went to Wilmington and stayed at the Taylor house for our anniversary . We were met on time by Scott Clark, proprietor, and he was welcoming and helped us get situated properly in the old house. The place was really pretty and clean and we enjoyed ourselves so much. Walking distances to the museum and the...

Our first time with a B and B and we are hooked! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Scott who was both hospitable and knowledgeable about Wilmington! Our room - the Peace Room - was large, bright and very comfortable. The added drinks sidebar in the hallway was a great touch! But it was the breakfast that...

The located just about 7 blocks east from the Riverwalk area and around the corner from Bellamy Mansion. Not too far of a walk, but the house is located on the edge of one local told us as 'ghetto'. When we arrived there was oodles of trash and mattresses leaning against the tree adjacent to then inn. Not a good...

We welcome all guests comments, whether it is good or bad. Having been in the business for twenty years, feedback is good, it means growth to me. With this being said, I feel as though a few issues need to be addressed. The Taylor House Inn is located on a quiet one-way brick paved street in Historic downtown Wilmington. Our...

I was in Wilmington with my fiancé for a long weekend spanning New Years Eve and thoroughly enjoyed Taylor House Inn. The property is on a lovely and quiet street and the house is grand yet comfortable. Our room was enormous with large windows overlooking the tree-lined street. Everything we needed for our comfort was provided in the room. The...

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary by renting the LOVE room at Taylor House B&B. Scott was wonderful and very inviting. His attention to detail rivals a 5 star hotel, and his breakfasts are unique and delicious. Stepping into the Taylor House Inn is like stepping back to a simpler, more elegant time, where I was able...

My husband and I arrived to the Taylor House on Friday, November 11 for a two-night stay. Scott (the owner) certainly knows the meaning of the word "gracious", as we were treated with the most gracious experience, comparable to that of a five-diamond experience that you would find at very expensive hotels/resorts. Upon our arrival, Scott sat down with us...

My wife and I arrived at Taylor House Inn having had to adjust our check-in time a few hours later than we expected. Our host, Scott (aided by his wife Karen), was very gracious in adjusting his schedule to accommodate our later arrival time, and spent a good fifteen minutes orienting us to the house, local restaurants, and points of...

If you're looking for a place to stay in busy downtown Wilming, THIS is you're place! It's located on a quaint brick street with huge oak trees and even bigger historic homes. Short walk to the River front with shopping and dining. The first thing I noticed when we pulled up was the beautiful porch swing(s) on a spacious front...
