The Inn at Iris Meadows is one of our favorite bed and breakfast inns and each time we have the privilege of being guests in this delighful home is better than the last. Becky and George Fain, even with all the rooms full, make each and every guest feel as though you are the only one in the inn. Everything...

Visited the Inn at Iris Meadows again this summer and it was as wonderful as it was last summer. Becky, George the Innkeepers outdid themselves. The bountiful breakfasts are always a highpoint. While there is much to see and do in Waynesville and Asheville, some days it is just hard to move from one of the porches, especially if you...

My wife and I just returned from a three day stay at the Inn at Iris Meadows. I cannot remember a more relaxing or more enjoyable trip. Although there are many things to do and see around Waynesville, I found it very difficult to leave the porch and the view of the mountains. Becky and George were the most hospitable...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at Iris Meadows during an impromptu weekend get-away. Our schedules had been opposite and we were in need of some time to ourselves, away from the cares of everyday life. This Inn is only about an hour from our home, but it provided the perfect getaway. Becky and George were great...

We just got back from our first of many trips to the Inn at Iris Meadows and I can't say enough about George and Becky and their inn. My husband and I have stayed at many inns, but this is by far the best anywhere. George and Becky made us feel like wonderful friends come for a stay and I...

This was the most amazing week. George and Becky made our vacation one we shall always remember. The beautifully restored home, wonderful food, gracious hosts and stunning mountain views were a warm blanket that surrounded us. We will definitely be back.

Last month was my fifth stay at Iris Meadows, and it is truly heavenly. I've written reviews in the past addressing various extraordinary aspects of the inn itself, such as the quality of the service (the best I've ever received) and the beauty and comfort of the guest rooms and common areas. This time I'm inclined to focus on the...

Becky and George Fain are the ultimate innkeepers of the Inn at Iris Meadows. We were greeted with a warm welcome and experienced just the right mix of availability and privacy throughout our stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable with private bathrooms filled with luxurious bath products. The breakfasts are truly gourmet and plentiful...come to the table...

“Our preference is the Garden Room on the second floor. It is beautiful and we love the fireplace in the LARGE bathroom. All you have to do is open the door to the patio for two overlooking the gardens.”

“Many of the rooms have a large tub and hand-held shower. You will want to plan extra time to bathe in the tub and use the hand held shower to rinse your hair after shampooing. I did this at night which enhanced my relaxation. You may also choose one of the rooms that has a standing shower.”

“There are seven rooms to choose from.... all with their unique personality. Some face the front driveway, while others face hillsides, the town, or the gardens....ask if you have a preference. Make sure you leave time to just relax on the porch....”
