We stayed at the Brookside Mountain Mist Inn last weekend and had the most amazing time. Dina and Carolyn are the most gracious hosts and not only have a beautiful and very clean bed and breakfast, but they make the most AMAZING food. You have to try the pistachio bread! There hospitality went above and beyond!

This hidden getaway is charming and inviting. We spent a weekend with friends and found Mountain Mist to be a lovely inn inside and out. Our room was wonderful, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean (as was the rest of the inn). We felt very comfortable whether sitting on the lovely patio out back or in the cozy living room. The...

Brookside Mountain Mist is an exceptional inn. The innkeepers are knowledgeable and have created a getaway you won't forget. We stayed in the Plantation Room and everything we needed was already thought of and provided. The inn was spotless and exceptionally appointed from a beautiful living room to a cozy dining area to a porch we enjoyed as often as...

My husband and I visited Brookside Mountain Mist Inn for our first wedding anniversary. I had seen the Inn on a website, and since it looked very nice, I decided to book a room. The place is very pretty, inside and out, and pretty much, what you see is what you get. Carolyn and Dina, the owners, are very welcoming,...

If you aren't completely charmed by Carolyn's radiant smile and quick sense of humor upon first meeting her then you will most definitely be swept off your feet by Dina's amazing cooking. Homemade multi course hot breakfasts at 8:30 sharp are totally worth getting up for. Don't miss it! We stayed in the Plantation Room. The most wonderful sleeping bed...

My mother had never been to a bed and breakfast before. We found this lovely establishment after a horrible experience with the Folkestone Inn in Bryson City, NC. My mother is diabetic and the lovely ladies at the Brookside catered to her health needs and were extremely kind and helpful getting our room ready for their last minute guests. The...

Things that may be helpful: 1) Close to most local sites and activities; 2) Just off of Main St. and about 5 minutes from town; 3) Convenient to the highways through town including the Blue Ridge. Dina and Carolyn operate a first rate property. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, town, the national park, Asheville, the Pisgah Inn...

Take this review of Brookside Mtn. Mist B&B under serious advisement. Wonderful! A Must Stay. Carolyn and Dina, truly amazing innkeepers will provide joy, humor, and YES, the most incredible breakfasts under the NC sky. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, quiet, and matched any 5 star hotel we've stayed in. The split bathroom was very accomadating and...

We think we hit the jackpot when we found the Brookside Mountain Mist Inn. The accomodations are "eat off the floor" clean which is a number one priority when we travel. Breaksfasts were filling and delicious. The Inn is all on one floor making it a bit easier for travelers who are unable to tackle a steep set of stairs....

We have stayed in numerous B & B's throughout North Carolina. This was one of the best. The setting is idyllic and serene. Our hosts have an excellent eye for detail when it comes to comfort - spacious rooms, beautiful bathroom, sitting area ( a necessity for the book lovers that we are), and delicious food. Lots of amenities. We...
