My husband Jonathan and I got married here a little over a month ago and had our dream wedding! Sheila was delightful to work with, and on point in every aspect of the preparations. The venue was both accommodating and inviting, and the atmosphere romantic and nostalgic. Our bridal party stayed at the bed and breakfast for the weekend and...

The people who own, manage and maintain Magnolia do a superb job. We were treated like family. dietary issues were handled very nicely, I don't believe I have ever had such a great offering of gluten free breakfast options. The grounds are magnificent, from the pecan trees to the horseshoe pits, every detail is well thought out planned and executed....

Our daughter's wedding was here in November.Don't let the chance of cold weather keep you from scheduling a fall wedding or event, as umbrella heaters kept the outdoor barn/dining shelter warm. A large pecan grove made beautiful fall photo ops. The innkeepers and staff were efficient without being intrusive and made our family and guests feel welcome. Although a turn...

Great people beautiful place top to bottom. It is remote which gives it an extra special touch. Plan accordingly and it will be worth it. The history, the grounds, and the antiques are exceptional. The owners are charming and so sweet.

While this place may be fine as a country/farm type wedding venue on a nice day, please be aware that it is in the middle of nowhere. The location is not well suited to inclement weather or travel after dark. It is over an hour away from nice hotels and restaurants. You will not want your guests to have to...

Sheila and Larry Carver set the bar so high that other B&B's will have a difficult time measuring up. Excellent accomodations, food and hospitality. Magnolia Manor is in a remote location in northeastern NC and there are limited other attractions in the area.

This is a great place to have a wedding, if you don't mind that it is in the middle of no where and your quests will have to drive at least 40 min to an hour and a half, and It is quite pricey, but the food is good, atmosphere is lovely and the staff accomodating. Magnolia Planation is a...

Our daughter and son-in-law were married on 4/28/12 at this wonderful venue. We also had the rehearsal dinner the night before there as well. The entire wedding party stayed in the main house both Friday and Saturday night. I am the mother of the bride, and I agree with the previous reviewer whose child's wedding was earlier in the month....

5 Stars. I'm the father of the bride and I simply could not have been more satisfied with every aspect of my daughter and son-in-laws wedding at Magnolia Manor. Larry and Sheila became more like friends than. They made everything easy. No stress. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the home and rooms were spotless. The service was never ending. Food...
